I will not play IC because of this.

So when is it OK to take something from someone that earned what they have? If I am killing NPCs and earning TV stones, why can you steal them from me?

Seriously, what skill does it take to hide until a boss nearly kills a player, then jump out and one hit the player and take 80% their TVS? Zero, nada, no skill at all.

On top of this point, they don't take a modest amount, they take nearly everything.

On top of that, if you want to play in IC you have to go through Cyrodiil. This causes an imbalance in the PVP areas because the player slots taken are from the total allotment for a faction in any given PVP campaign.

It is for this reason and several others that I personally am losing interest in playing ESO. Its just not fun to play ATM.

See those special achievements (you get cosmetic armour) for collecting 5000 stones what is the deal with them? Does it require you to have the 5000 stones in your bank at any given time or just to have picked up 5000 stones?

ESO is great. It's just the new DLC that sucks.

Once the hype wears down, and more DLC is released, things will settle back out, I think.

Nothing else in Cyrodiil has risk or reward for PvPing so this was a welcome addition to PvPers who just spend time killing people and getting killed with nothing lost at all and needed something to excite PvP. We get that PvEers hate it but them's the breaks.

I'm easy pickin's for PVPers, lucky if I can get a shot or two off before I die, if I can't escape first. The only bad thing about it really is losing stones. The joke is on the PVPers, though, cuz I rarely get far from homebase with more than a handful of stones. They get 80% of nothing. I don't care about dying to them, except when fishing. Then I get mildly PO'd that some a hole is so self-involved that he/she can't leave me to fish in peace and I have to make my way back to a fishing hole.

I love the lose your telvar stones thing and I'm not really great at PVP. I have by far and away lost more stones to other players than I've rec'd. It adds more weight to death and more intensity to the gameplay. It's fantastic. And I really dont even care about the stones all that much for what they buy.
