DragonKnight Vampire build

Hello to everyone, I am new member here.

I would like to know if a DK+vampire build is viable. Also I'm a Dark Elf which can help with the vampire weakness.
Any suggetions?

DK is considered the worst pvp class at the moment. That means not many people are playing it and those who are playing are testing different things.
However, we should know what is your playstyle or how you picture yourself playing; first at all, magicka or stamina based? Do you want to be tanky or do you want to do great dmg? What are your favourite weapons, skills, if you have any preference?

Vampire DK is definitely not the juggernaut that it used to be, but I'm still enjoying it. I have had to adjust my setup and play style a lot with the last two major updates, but it can still be done.

Pre 2.1 I was running a heavy armor spell damage vampire build which worked fairly well, but I've switched to Stam now. The changes to the blocking mechanic make the Melee Magicka DK a bit more tricky to balance damage output and mitigation.

I personally like vampire on my stam DK for the sneak speed, undeath passive, unnatural recovery passive, elusive mist for extreme damage mitigation when things get hairy and Devouring Swarm for AoE damage + self heals.

The really import ones are the ultimate and the undeath passive. With the healing nerf in PVP Dragon Blood is near useless, so DKs have to be a bit more diverse with self heals. Magicka builds are now running rapid regen/blessing of restoration in conjunction with Igneous Shield + Coagulating Blood for their healing needs, so 1 or 2 skills has been replaced by a whole bar of skills. For stam I like Rally, Viggor, Devouring Swarm + Igneous Shield.

As far as offence goes I find that Devouring Swarm + Caltrops + Steel Tornado is a pretty good combo for tackling groups, but I'm going to be testing the synergy between Clouding Swarm, Camo Hunter & Steel Tornado.

For single target I prefer 2H, but Sword & Shield is pretty effective with high weapon damage and gives a little more durability for the Medium Armor wearer. Gotta love that hard hitting Pierce Armor and the healing debuff from reverberating bash is gravy.

As far as the weaknesses of vampirism, I invest heavily in the Lady Constellation's Elemental Defender.... at the moment I have elemental damage reduced by 20%+, so it's only an extra 5%, but I give up higher resistance to other kinds of damage. Some of the Fighter's Guild abilities are a pain, but the price is worth it as far as I'm concerned.

@PhatGrimReaper : omg dude im doing exactly what uve listed above lol. Though lately ive found dragon leap seems to be doing more for me in PVP. Cant seem to figure out why. Also DK's have been nerfed so much that it feels so gimped compared to what it used to be T.T

Oh, I forgot to say that I'm lvl10. So what is best for leveling/PVE??

You should fight sanct once in a while. No matter what class you are. The guy will reck you. DK's are still pretty good. The old builds dont work though.
