Bring back 'The Road Ahead' articles!

These articles used to be posted after each update. I loved it because it simplified in a nutshell what was going on, what they were working on and what we had to look forward to. After 1.6 this stopped, why? Unless im mistaken and there is an appropriate spot to find game info (not scattered on the forums and reddit or twitch) it. Please bring these back, communicate with us.

CCP Games while making some dumb choices in the past are well known for their fantastic developer/player interactions and the community that has spawned.
If people abuse that contact and act like jerks, ban them and help clean up the community at the same time. There are still a lot of dedicated passionate players for this game which want to work with you to make it better. Please don't hide behind community reps or completely because there are some terrible people who can't be civilised.

It was too convenient for Zen it seems. They would rather us watch some 2 hour live stream. Its just odd why on Earth you want to go from awesome Road Ahead to inconvenient Live Stream. Zen logic at its best.

Indeed, it was always a great thing to see what we could have to look forward to in the forseeable future.

Though I suppose they also caught quite a bit of flak from it, when their plans changed due to circumstances... it was if a thousand voices cried out in whining...

I'd still like to have some sort of peek at the things coming towards our way. And preferably not in some video form, but a simple page where I can read what is currently in development, which direction it is taking, and an approximate guess as to when it might be released...

Agree! The stream is a terrible, terrible format. I have the same problem with player-made build videos etc. If I'm looking for a particular bit of information, text lets me search and find much, much better than a lengthy video.

If it has to be a video, an index is an absolute must
(e.g.
intro - 0:00
useless jokes: 1:30
new cosmetic: 3:47
upcoiming DLC: 5:46
balances changes: 7:32
etc
)

I still prefer a textual representation, though.

I can't tell you how much I agree to that.
They don't even post a recap for their stream... you have to watch the whole broadcast and look for useful information for yourself...

Most players don't have time nor want to sit through a lengthy video stream, they simply want to know the overview of what's happening. I know when I've watched the streams I kept saying, "OK, blah, blah... now hurry up and get to the important stuff." I want to get back to the game, not sit and watch people joking around trying to be entertaining, when most players just want them to get to the point.

Since 1.6, the quality of updates and patches arent so great anymore. I know a lot of big names have left (Maria, Sage & The Konk), even Matt Firor hasnt logged in for months. Part of me says let them smooth off console and get the oceanic megaserver running and get settled with their projects, another part of me is saying this is just what the game will be from here on out. No new elements, just more grinding.
