Someone has more weapon damage than me, running less weapon damage sets

So I saw a new build, and the person is only running 3 agility and 2 shadow walker for weapon damage (some jewellery have weapon enchants). I have both those sets and more adding weapon damage, and I don't get anywhere near his amount of weapon damage. Can someone please help me understand this?

✭✭Post the screenshots of both your and his equipment, together with the slotted abilities and active effects, blurring out names. Class choice, ability choice, equipment choice, type of equipment, all have an influence. In addition to mundus and divines (which in itself is huge, a single gold divines piece will increase mundus by 7.5%), he could also be using major/minor brutality buffs to temporary increase weapon damage. Item set procs would be another possible explanation.

✭✭Drink a weapon power pot. He has major brutality buff active (20% weapon damage bonus), bringing your 2600 exactly to 3100.

I have an axe and sword, so that would factor in a little, but I still have more sets adding weapon damage, so it shouldn't give him that much of a boost. And im pretty sure CP dont change the stats on the character sheet0 -
EDS604✭✭✭i believe swords increase damage done withw eapon attacks and doesn't affect your weapon dmg stat. same goes for the mighty cp tree, increases dmg done, not the weapon dmg stat.PC EU, Guildleader of "Death By Gargoyle".0

✭✭What's both of your races? If he's an orc, he gets up to 4% bonus on weapon damage, afaik.
EDIT: Also, could you maybe post which sets both of you are using on which slots with which trait and quality?
