I'm not convinced we can be calling this a glitch. For most people the trap only does minimal damage, however if you tune your alt to absolutely maximize the damage it outputs (4K+ weapon damage, high crit%, sharpened weapons, all CPs in thaumatage) then yeah, you can do a LOT of damage with it (you're also pretty easy to kill if you leave the shadows). The fact that the trap reappeared is an intended mechanic of the re-arming trap morph. On my NB stamina glass cannon yeah, you walk into my traps while im stealthed and you'll cop 15- 30K damage depending on whether your undead or not , do the same thing on my magicka DK and I'll be lucky to do 2k damage.
Now I know in some instances re-arming traps is re-arming more than once, that is a glitch and shouldn't be happening.
If we go about the game with the mentality that no one skill is allowed to do ridiculous damage then we also need to nerf crystal shards, snipe, radiant oppression, executioner and overload....
As I said, in some instances the traps are re-arming more than once - that is a glitch. That's when you'll see your 200K DPS, what this video shows though is it re-arming once and going off as intended......
