Hey ZOS... Favoritism much?

So I understand that there are roughly 17 "domestic" containers inside the EP IC Sewers Home Base.

AD has roughly 18

By "domestic" containers, I mean the type of lootable containers that drop recipes, motifs, etc.

All of my main characters are DC and I can assure you that this is a massive unbalance since DC has 3 such containers. So by default, EP and AD have more than 5X the chance at a V15 recipe in the safety of their own base.

Am I missing something here?

Considering that V15 recipes are in very high demand for personal upgrades plus selling for premium amounts right now, this should probably be addressed.

Perhaps it's just an oversight....

    Can confirm for DC.

When you enter the base, there's a backpack to the right. Run through the corridor and there's a nightstand to the left and wardrobe to the right.

    And that's all folks.

Hopefully they'll fix that soon for you.
Don't think it's favoritism tho, for the longest time, EP was able to buy oils for less than DC or AD.
    I'd go with oversight...or sloppy.

I have recently switched to exclusively DC and I have to say from playing all 3 DC is by far one of the forgotten children...it's like Orphaned by ZOS....at first I switched because I wanted the British landscapes look from Glenumbra...and now I am so deep into DC with my characters I almost feel trapped....don't get me wrong I prefer being the underdog...but this can be a bit extreme at times.

I pointed this out a while back also. I've even got a dwemer page out of one of the 3 dwemer pots in the EP base.
I've gotten 6 purple VR15 recipies here as well.

Edit: I forgot to mention the 100 or so Lorkhan's tears.

That is a separate issue. Feel free to create a thread about it. The issue here is the majorly unbalanced access to safe containers.

well DC has alot more containers within their sewer part - sure its not as safe as the starting area but it´s easily overcompensating the total amount of containers.

Even if that is true, it's not even remotely comparable. There is a huge difference between a handful of extra backbacks you might come across in your travels throughout the sewers, and having 18 containers in your safe home base compared to 3.

    18
    18
    3

There is no defense for this. There is no rational explanation that anyone from AD or EP can possibly toss out there. It's ridiculously unbalanced.

Just for ships & giggles: EP actually has 19 containers inside the base and one backpack on the raised ledge directly outside, which is still safe:
    • 4 Backpacks in the dead end tunnel opposite the bank lady.
    • 3 Backpacks in the room with the exit to Cyrodiil proper (one is quite well hidden behind some barrels).
    • 1 Backpack, 2 Urns, 1 Dwemer Pot and 1 Dwemer Jug around the vendor in the craft room (yes, I have received Dwemer Scraps from those).
    • 1 Nightstand, 3 Backpacks, 1 Dresser, 1 Cabinet and 1 Wardrobe in the Tel Var vendor room.
    • said 1 Backpack on the raised ledge directly outside the base.
There's also quite a large number of possible Lorkhan's Tears sources. Haven't counted, but it's for sure around 30 possible spawns.

On the other hand, I get less than 10 Dark Ether per hour in the best spot for EP, and that spot is next to Barathrum Centrata and quite populated with enemy players...

There is a bit of justice there.

I can understand your point. But even if Bone Shards and Dark Ethers happen to drop more often on the DC side of center, that still involves risk. It involves risk from all 3 factions. You can and will be risking your Tel Var stones at any time while farming all types of trophy shards, regardless of their location and regardless of faction. Heck, I don't know about AD and AP, but the DC home base is regularly assaulted by both of the other two factions right at the base.

Containers inside the base have no risk at all. None. And it's not just a slight unbalance here, we are talking 18 containers vs 3.

Buff DC racials? Clearly people love the AD for their magicka and stealth while the EP is just all around superior to everyone else.

But Bretons are good at exploding, Orcs are good at running away, and Redguard are tanks... which no one plays...

I was so happy to find those 3 containers (Although there are barrels/other provisioning things to loot). If I had 18 backpacks/dressers/wardrobes/dwemer containers to search that would be great :) I've not found a purple recipe yet, despite looting containers every chance I get(including districts). I have got some v15 recipes though, which I was over the moon about!

EDIT : There are two trays in the DC base with drinks bottles in them. Mostly they will drop a basic potion, but sometimes they do drop Lorkhan's tears..I would say I've not gotten more than 5 ( at best) from these trays at any one time.

Does the AD and EP side have ~15 Lorkans Tears drops in their home base?

The recipes don't really sell for anything right now anyways. If you're farming recipes with 2+ minute load screens for gold then I have to tell you you're doing it wrong.

    Just went and counted (EP):
    • 1 entrance room
    • 6 craft room + 5 alchemy room
    • 16 Tel Var vendor room
    • 2 dead end opposite bank lady
    • 6 on the raised ledge outside the base.
That's at least 36, only counting kegs, alchemy bottles and drinks. Also, there may be more, this was just one round and not all may have spawned.

It's pretty bad..... Lorkhan's Tears are still 200 each and very highly desired. I could get a stack of them just going to EP base in the course of a few days, whereas I'm lucky to get 10 in that same amount of time in DC, counting the spots in non safe areas too for DC compared to 100% safe spots for AD and EP.

I'm .01% away from dropping this game. Nothing but trashy decisions with the IC DLC, and that's not even taking into account the anti-DC bias that's clearly shown in this thread.
