Stamina Regen or Stamin Cost Redustion Champ Passives??

Hi all,
I've always split my points between the 2 as a stamina DPS, but some people argue it should all be dumped in Cost reduction as regen is a bit borked after IC dropped, just wondered what everybody's opinion is.

I mainly pvp as Stam Sorc before I get the obligation 'depends what your doing' post :-)

Guess I had that coming, thanks for your helpful reply I've only got 240 ish so 80 in each tree atm, any one with some serious help greatly appreciated!!

I wish I had an awesome reply like this, but all I can try is

You have to make a choice whether to specialize or balance your build.
If you lack regen (ie. no regren passives/gear) to can balance it out by going after that, and if you have high regen (ie. Bosmer in Way of the Air set) you can specialize by doing the same. Or vice versa.

I know it's not a "do this"-answer, but you are the only one who can make the choice.

It depends on a lot of things, so if you want to min max your character you need to calculate it on your own.
But I can show you some of my thoughts on that topic, so it might become easier for you to decide:

- regen from cps stacks multipicative, so the more regen you have from passives / armour, the better those cp become.
- If you block a lot, cost reduction is better
- if you get most of your stamina from potions, heavy attacks or skills (dark deal, picking up spear shards, repentance, ...) cost reduction is better
- for short fights with breaks in between cost reduction is better, the longer the fight lasts, the better regen becomes

Ok guys thanks,
So no one thinks regen is some how messed up after IC at least, I tend to weave heavy attacks when I can. But it was meant as a more general question about which offers more 'bang for the buck' so to speak, as I have heard some people say to avoid regent atm, and dump into reduction.

Isn't it better put them evenly? Because of the diminishing returns.

The regen stacks multiplicative and has no diminishing return. Cost reduction does diminish. Both are good to have.

I mean't it more about diminishing returns on the cp's, putting another point into reduction at 50 will give aboit 0.2% more while putting that point into regen when it has only 10 or so will give .4% or such
