Hey guys Over-w8 here,

I just wanted to get some eyes on my build at the moment. I'm on EU PS4 DC. Vet 16 with close to 200 cp. With vet 10 tri food I have 1909 spell damage and ~28k magicka, 21k health (pve side), Mage Mundus.

Gear now:
5pc light Phoenix v15 upgraded to purple.
2pc monster set that gives the healing totem (forgot the name)
Necklace willpower
Rings v14 blue spell damage / max magicka

Weapons:
V16 willpower dagger/dagger precise/cool down (haven't gotten swords yet)
V16 willpower mace/shield

D/D bar:
Breath of life
Puncturing sweep
Jesus beam
Toppling charge
Inner light
Dawnbreaker

S/S bar:
Pierce armor
Defensive stance
Channeled focus
Structured entropy
Inner light
Nova

I mainly have been pvping in IC and farming sewers on downtime.

I'm thinking about keeping my Phoenix set for dungeon/farming (has paid for itself in saved tel var stones already) and getting a more pvp friendly set.
I really like the totem because it procs from sweeps a few times a fight so that's 1000 heal a second I would miss, but if I jack up spell power that might be made up from sweeps heals?

I was considering making the head and shoulders v16 heavy torugs and buying two v14 cyrodill light rings and enchanting them to spell damage unless I'm having some sustain issues. I keep channeled focus up so I usually don't have an issue

Do you think the rings are worth it? Should I take out Phoenix in pvp? 5 heavy 2 light or 5 light 2 heavy? I would like to keep dw just for the free set spot.

Any input is appreciated.

Running sort of a similar setup. Dont like the survivability though. Im gonna try 5 heavy 2 light with black rose set. See if i can get decent sustain/dps out of it with added survivability. Im a vamp though.

Im running a similar skill set up as you but I do not have any IC gear yet. Tempted to try out the phoenix set but I'm not sure it will be worth the loss in DPS.

    4 magnus
    4 martial knowledge
    2 adroitness
    2 cyrodills light rings.

for a little over 2800 spell damage un-buffed with dw swords.
I should be looking to upgrade my v12 martial knowledge but I haven't figured out a suitable replacement yet.

The heal from puncturing sweep is pretty hefty. I have been putting my champion points into increased magic damage and healing received. If I can hit 2 enemies with a full puncturing sweep I can heal myself for almost 1/2 my life bar.

I am really lacking in sustained fights as I have about 900 magic regen. For sustain I have a frost staff for my back up weapon. I will cast channeled focus, frost reach and then charge up a heavy attack if I CC'd them. Works well for npc's but I rely on pots for PvP fights.

    1) willpower set: 2 rings + neckless ( rings are enchanted on 174 spell damage, neckless on to reduce spell cost - 203)
    2) Twilight's Embrace: 2 crafted vr lvl 16 maces with ninh. trait, heave helmet and shoulders with ninh. So of a total - 4 pc of that set.
    3) other pieces are martial knoledge lvl 14

Using mundus that gives me spell damage.

Making my goal getting a Overwhelming Surge Set instead of martial.

My stats in pve with new lvl15 food :

    Magica - 32.5k
    Health - 23k
    Stamina ~ 10k

3300( maybe a bit more) spell damage with entropy on.

    45% spell crit.

    18800 spell resist , 10k physical

    Active bars.
    1)
    Biting jabs
    Entrophy
    Beam
    Tropping charge
Mage light( the one that gives more magica)
    Shooting star.

    2)
    Breath of life
    Channeled focus
Shield from light armor skill line
    Purifying ritual
    Mage light
    Super for healing.

Killing a deacent mage 1 on 1 with lots of shields going on could take more then 1-2 min. Plus he can always run off with teleportation
