ZOS, the group finder is ruining your game on consoles. How many posts must we create!?

Why has ZOS never mentioned fixing the horrible group finder? Why must we wait on console hours on end to do dungeons or dallies? It does not matter what role you select since I am a healer and can never get in a group. Does Zenimax even test out there own group finder tool? Have a nice day.

I've seen more and more people from my high end pve guild leave especially lately with the latest patch. In all honestly I'm at the end of my tether too. There just isn't enough of a population online on console to sustain pve groups. Especially on the EU side. I run dungeons but only when my group is online otherwise I don't.....

The group finder is "Said" to be fixed with a patch in October. In fact it was said that the patch has already been sent to MS so that could be 2-3 weeks away.

The group finder has been broken on PC for the last 17 months. If you expect things that have been broken since launch to be fixed in a timely manner, you are going to be very disappointed with this game in the long run.

There is still a group finder? I gave up on it 1 month into the PC launch. Guilds and zone chat have been the only means I have successfully found groups.

The group finder has been and still is an absolute disgrace and the owners should be totally ashamed of it and how long it has been broken for.

There was a mass exodus of players in 2014 when all these issues came up and still in late 2015 they have not been addressed so guess what is happening...?

It should have been their priority after deciding not to implement text chat on consoles back before the console release. PC players at least have other means to form groups, consoles get a very local voice chat (and the majority don't even use it).

No one wants to mess around for hours on end trying to form a group to do a dungeon or group quests in Craglorn (with the limited voice chat) when games like Destiny allow you to queue up and have instant action.

At least with IC a lot of people are forming groups in the alliance base, so there is a localized area to get groups together (excluding the new dungeons obviously).

That edit on bashing always cracks me up. Its like, better not continue to express your disappointment on features that are known to have issues but we wont fix it, or even reply to the post. But they will edit your post so they dont look incompetent at their jobs...Theyll talk all day about crown store items though...

Honestly everyone I completely understand, but MMOs have never been about just finding a quick daily group and nothing more. You need to build relationships and groups. I and many others have developed a wide circle of friends 3 tanks 5 healers 10 dps so that we are able to run stuff whenever someone wants to. Now sure some nights people aren't on or they all wanna do pvp, but that is just the nature of the game.

One flaw I have with your logic is that some of my most of my gaming friends have been met through dungeons and group runs, we all had to pug at one point... A working group finder is definetely a way to build a community and friends...

Not that I have personally used group finder on PC since Early Access way back when, as would rather play with people and teams I get on with, but many asked Zeni to fix group finder for a long long long long long time to no real avail.

So...console players, your chances of it actually working, as intended, like ever...are not that great:P

Out of about 30ish friends on PSN only 4 still play ESO.

Basic mmo tools like a working group finder and text chat are needed badly if zenimax wants to stop the exodus of players imo.

Sadly ZOS, with their vast amount of MMO experience, removed all text chat from the console version of the game (and they continue to pretend they made the correct choice).

There is a free to play game called warframe that has a good example of what I'd like to see for a grouping system. Before you enter an instance of mission you have a pull-down with some options, to enter solo to enter and allow friends to join or to make it public. If you go public you are matched with appropriate people for that mission as soon as you enter the instance, there is no UI or tool, just join a mission and you are matched with 3 others in a few seconds.

I would very much like a grouping system like that in this game.
