Like the title says, this is straight out of the patch notes.

Who in the heck thought this was a good idea????
Tenesi Faryon of Telvanni - Dunmer Sorceress who deliberately sought sacrifice into Cold Harbor to rescue her beloved.
Hisa Ni Caemaire - Altmer Sorceress, member of the Order Draconis and Adept of the House of Dibella.
Broken Branch Toothmaul - goblin (for my goblin characters, I use either orsimer or bosmer templates) Templar, member of the Order Draconis and persistently unskilled pickpocket
Mol gro Durga - Orsimer Socerer/Battlemage who died the first time when the Nibenay Valley chapterhouse of the Order Draconis was destroyed, then went back to Cold Harbor to rescue his second/partner who was still captive. He overestimated his resistance to the hopelessness of Oblivion, about to give up, and looked up to see the golden glow of atherius surrounding a beautiful young woman who extended her hand to him and said "I can help you". He carried Fianna Kingsley out of Cold Harbor on his shoulder. He carried Alvard Stower under one arm. He also irritated the Prophet who had intended the portal for only Mol and Lyris.

Order Draconis - well c'mon there has to be some explanation for all those dragon tattoos.
House of Dibella - If you have ever seen or read "Memoirs of a Geisha" that's just the beginning...
Nibenay Valley Chapterhouse - Where now stands only desolate ground and a dolmen there once was a thriving community supporting one of the major chapterhouses of the Order Draconis

    The default behavior is for the hp bar to disappear when it's full. The patch note seemed to indicate that it'll successfully do this even when you eat food.

    If you're injured, and it's still hidden, then yeah, scream to high heaven, but this sounds like a bug fix, nothing more.

    If you're on PC and don't like the behavior, FTC changes the bar entirely (and to something more useful), so that's an option too.

    Why would you want it up at full health? if it's gone then you can relax bcs you have full health

    I actually thought an option would be best, but I'll take it.

    When you food buff goes away, your stat bars will suddenly show up on screen (even when not in combat) and visibly shrink so there still is a base game effect to show you your food has worn off. As mentioned above, I really don't feel the need to see my health bars while I'm.. hmm.. at the bank for example.. not near any combat.

    Its nice to have the visual indicator that your food buff is still active. Its a bit rough running into a fight and be 30% lower on health than anticipated.

    No FTC on console. So looking forward to this fix...

    The flaring health bar is nice. But I go afk a lot (I have 3-4 minutes to burn every time I zone) and miss alot.

    This behavior irritates my friends as I miss a lot of chat invites and stuff though. My apologies if youre reading this :-)

    On console isn't the health bar displayed like it is on the PC where you see a red bad but no numbers? If so, I suppose the length of the bar might tip you off that the food buff has expired but that seems extremely easy to overlook.

    Of course I say that and I've fought and died without a food buff while using FTC which puts the actual number right there on the bar in the center of my screen for me to see, so I may just be a little less observant than normal perhaps.
