Wait, why is IC access locked in other campaigns?

If his home campaign is Axe of Belharza, then the map is stating correct information that you need your native 6 keeps to get into IC. If the home campaign was any other campaign, there is a legitimate bug there if looking at a map of Azura, Blackwater, etc.
Even if you're in your guest campaign the rules for access to IC are based on your home campaign? So if I set Azura as my home campaign and then used Axe of Belharza as my guest campaign then I could go to my guest and go into IC regardless of whether my alliance held any keeps in Axe? Wow, that makes no sense...

Oh, and follow-up question: if you set Axe as your home campaign and then go to Azurah as your guest campaign, your access to IC is gated based on keeps because those are the rules of your home campaign. As you're not in your home campaign, though, is it based on the keeps owned by your alliance in your home campaign (because the rules are apparently based on your home campaign, not on the campaign that you're in), or is it based on the keeps owned by your alliance in the campaign you're actually in?

This design is very counter-intuitive and weird.

The problem is when Axe of Belharza is your home campaign, then you cannot enter on your guest campaign either if you don't have your 6 home keeps.

Nope. Campaigns are their own information and their own set of Access Rules. Azura only looks at the status of the Keeps within Azura to determine if you get access.

OK. So if you are in Azura and Azura has not access restrictions, you should be able to get into IC without issues even if your home campaign is Axe and your faction doesn't own enough keeps in Azura, right?

^ Yeah. That's what we are wondering.. because that is the OP's problem. He has Axe set as home, Azura as guest.. and while in Azura he is being told he is locked out of IC due to not owning enough keeps.

I'm so glad I didn't buy the IC and cancelled my plus sunscription last month. This is just stupid.

Wait, but if they have their own set of access rules then that goes contrary to your earlier post where you said it was working as intended that when OP was in Azura it was locked based on keeps, even though it's not a campaign that is supposed to be locked...

So for clarity here's the situation:

Home campaign: Axe (IC access locked by keep control)
Guest campaign: Azura (no IC access lock)

When a character with this setup is in Cyrodiil in his guest campaign, which of the following situations should apply:
    1. Full access to IC regardless of keep control
    2. Access to IC is locked based on keep control in Azura
    3. Access to IC is locked based on keep control in Axe

Guys... guys... This is a display bug. It's been around since the IC patch hit a few weeks ago on PC. Access is still unlocked fine.

I'm looking at Azura's star on PC right now, and it unlocked and green. Could you tell us what your home campaign you're also running and what UI mods you have?

Thanks @ZOS_BrianWheeler for looking into this. I'm at work but when I get home I'll disable all mods and try again. If it doesn't work I'll let you know. My home is axe of belharza and guest campaign is azura. I now know the map displays incorrect info but when I tried accessing the door it was not Accessible. One other in zone chat last night confirmed to me that his azura guest campaigns was not IC accessible either.

@ZOS_BrianWheeler Yeah, that's the problem. OP is homed in Belharza, but guesting in Azura, and appears to be having access restrictions while in Azura.

I just confirmed the IC access "lockout" on guest campaigns as simply a display bug. Screenshots are included.

Process: I did exactly the same thing as the OP.
I set my EP Home campaign to "Axe of Belharza", then set my Guest campaign to "Azura's Star".
I checked the Cyrodiil map, while outside Cyrodiil, to confirm that EP was currently locked out of IC.
I then entered my Guest campaign of Azura's Star.

Here's the screenshot while in Azura's:
    Jdsrtnj.jpg

I rode to the nearest IC gate, and the sewers entrance still had the "Use" prompt:
    LBtoUGR.jpg

Activating the entrance door did grant access, as expected:

Confirmed: This is simply a display bug.

    Hope this helps,

It's a UI bug that's been around since IC launched. Don't go by the map, it lies. Just ride up to the door and enter. Regardless of home/guest you can get in save the new camp with rules.

Yeah..umm.. NO.. he already did that.
Then when I went to the entrance it wouldn't let me in. Literally unable to open the door.

    Its some kind of bug.

Thanks for checking this out. Last night I tried what you just did, yet the door was not interactable. I then got further confused when I looked at the map. At the time didn't know it was a display bug. I just got home from work so I'll try accessing IC again. Maybe it was an isolated anomaly.

This could be a other bug, it happend to me sometimes that i could not interact with doors from some keeps.
(Press E blablabla was not displayed)

so if you say you cold not interact ist prol. this isuess.

The door to IC should be interactable in all case, but should Display a error on the top Corner that you dont have Access or somthing like this.
