I still use two crafted sets as a dual wielder I can have dps(hundigs rage 5 pieces + ashen gip 4 pieces) or tanking (alesias bulwark 5 pieces and hist bark 4 pieces...or vampires kiss 5 pieces and alesias bulwark 4...etc) so I think it is fine to have the jewelry crafting in there....even with the set bonuses, just put a limit on the 5 piece bonuses to one...if that makes sense? like the armors 5th piece counts but not the rest....rings weapons etc....
or make ring bonuses totally different even when crafted at the same locations...even better.

What would be the point of that? The biggest reason most people want jewelry crafting is BECAUSE of the second 5 piece bonus.

The main thing I think is keeping jewellers from being implemented is how little there is to craft and research for them... only amulets and rings? Doesn't really sound like much of a craft to me...
But that can be balanced by just adding more stuff for jewellers to make!
I have always wanted an alternate weapon for destruction and restoration magic... some sort of "Spell Focus" that works just the same, just has different visuals and animations... things like ornate spellbooks, holy symbols, gemmed skulls, meditation crystals, shamans rattles, prayer beads, et cetera, depending on racial style, available in all the elemental flavors and restoration - bing, four more things for jewellers to craft and research!
Which'd bring them right up to woodworking...
Then... there also could be jewelled versions of headpieces... circlets, crowns, facemasks, etc. Or even more jeweller-crafted versions of other armor pieces... gemmed bracers for the hand slot? Ornate belts? etc.
More then enough ideas to make jewelery viable as crafters...

Have white jewelry be the base of which to craft with. No mats needed, just the right white accessory with the right trait you want and you can craft a set on it and improve.
Theres totally no use of white jewelry, put em to use this way ...
Improve mats could be gotten from deconstructing jewelry, the higher the quality the more chance of getting a gold one (also gotten from hirelings with higher chance then other crafts).
Would not like to see another resource node to be grinded, maps cluttered enough with them as it is.
Anyway ... just brainstorming, but would love to see jewelry crafting ...
