Vet CoH: Is Nerien'eth ignoring shields now?

I had quite an interesting time tanking Vet CoH over the weekend. In addition to the rez bug documented under the known issues for 2.1.4, it seems that this boss has acquired the ability to hit through shields. At the time I had harness magicka, and absorb magic applied I took a skull blast to the face. Good thing I had block up as it went passed my shields and hit my hp directly. So here I am with an 18 k damage shield and a few thousand hp. Then I got hit by a micro blast and ate the pavement. Again my magic shield were untouched. Did Nerein'eth invest some Tel Var into his own Shield Breaker set?

Kobaal✭✭✭✭✭My Harness Magicka was working but I was taking much more damage as it was blasting through my shield and chewing away at my health.

lonewolf26✭✭✭✭✭While he does hit harder, in past updates my experience was that the blast consumed the shield, and the remaining damage hits me directly. Now however the shield is left untouched and the full damage hits me directly. This is running on a night blade tank. I'm running 5pc Hist Bark, 2pc Vampire's Kiss, 3pc healers jewelry, and 2pc engine guardian. All purple quality between VR 12-14.Edited by lonewolf26 on September 21, 2015 10:20PM0

✭✭You can negate all damage he does to you except for the one where he gets up close and personal and does his stab attack.
It goes straight through any shield.0
