Wouldn't going all into magicka actually increase the strength of Ward?

Do you have undaunted mettle 2/2? Do you run the mage?
2. Yes, I have meteor, entropy, magelight, etc and all the passives perked.
3. I have some of the vr12, not equiped though, and necropotence really gimps DPS when you can't have MK or a spell dmg armor set.
4. I still need to get a level in the Undaunted line before I can get it to 2/2, I have a heavy Molag kena and I am currently leveling up both medium and heavy armors to 50.
Hardened Ward, Harness Magicka. There's the trick to running around with 14k HP.NateAssassin wrote: »Well as a sorc you don't even really need to shield stack with Hardened Ward in PvE, and the thing I don't get is I had a healer complain about my low health in a vEH pledge, we did the whole thing with no deaths, I just kept my shield up 90% of the time like I normally do.Forestd16b14_ESO wrote: »NateAssassin wrote: »Well I don't run first into room but I've played with glass cannon type guys before and their DPS is double mine and they never seem to die, unless it's because usually they are a magicka DK.Forestd16b14_ESO wrote: »NateAssassin wrote: »Would putting every attribute into magicka crush my survivability?Forestd16b14_ESO wrote: »Racial passives, pooling all your attribute points into magicka, enchantments, light armor, food, and so on.
People complain I have low health as it is with 8 into health and structured entropy slotted.
Yes you would those players are know as "glass DPS" and sure there survivability sucks but they don't care when they got that massive DPS..... either though they die in 1 hit..... and for some reason always have to be first into a room and aggro all the enemies before the tank can then immeatly die and start to complain how heals isn't doing there job or tank is..... Never be a glass DPS it is not worth it.
Then there shield stacking which is nice but again not worth it cause as soon as the shields drop one tiny poke and dead. Just add some reinforce to some of those light armor pieces and a few points into health and you should be fine while still having atleast 30K or 35K magicka.

I chose a race I liked though, and if race change is required for getting high magicka, I would just stop caring as playing as a High Elf or Dunmer is on the lowest of priorities for me on ESO.eventide03b14a_ESO wrote: »NateAssassin wrote: »1. race is Khajiit, I hate high elves.do you have a race passive that gives 10% more magicka. There you go champ. You couldn't have chosen a worse race for a magicka build.
I believer only the Templar ward scales from HP, but I could be wrong. Also try Bastion. It really boosts shields.NateAssassin wrote: »

Yes.
Some shields scale from Health, Hardened Ward scales from Magic.
I have all my warrior CP into Bastion, never had issues with survivability with ward.eventide03b14a_ESO wrote: »I believer only the Templar ward scales from HP, but I could be wrong. Also try Bastion. It really boosts shields.NateAssassin wrote: »
