iseko✭✭✭✭10% increase for magicka with high elf. If u have 10k magicka that is 1k extra (yeuy?) and spells will cost around 4k (aww)...
If u have 40k magicka 10% is 4k (yeuy) and spells will cost around 2k (double yeuy) and it will be aa sizeable increase for your dmg (yeuy yeuy).
Might be viable if you go 5 med 2 light. Hybrid builds have never been a thing as far as I can think off but with limited investment into magicka, those racial passives will pay off a lot I guess? Strongest weapons off a sorc are streak and hardened. Could be a cool combo maybe: dual wield/2handed. Crit rush in, streak off and crit rush in again. Steel tornado to finish. But again: not a clue if it is viable at all. My point is that it seems like a waste to not use racial passives that give "huge" increases like that.0 -
I personally think that the race doesnt make such a big difference if you have a decent amount of CP.
You can play whatever you want with whatever race you want. Will there be certain races better for certain play styles? Probably yes. But you´ll be fine with a high elf stam sorc from what I have seen from others.0 -

✭As a khajiit sorc specced for magicka since release up until 1.7 hit PTS I can tell you racial passives only make as much of a difference as you let them. I was able to go toe to toe with pretty much every competent dueller I have found on EU and killed pretty much everyone of them at keast once in a 1v1 fight.
That being said you will definetly notice the lack of stats in certain situations. For example seeing an opponent get away with 1k HP can be extremely frustraiting when you know that your damage would be just that "tiny" bit higher if you had a 10% increase in your resource pool.
