Is this intended? Please can you confirm. This was an undocumented change in the most recent patch, and it's really, really annoying. The cost increase already hugely inhibits its use. The fact you don't maintain momentum after using it just makes it almost pointless to use in 50% of situations...

cloak is by far a better escape.Cloak is a better escape now if twinned with other abilities. That's beside the point however, I still want to I know if this is intended

How so? i can use the bow to roll dodge then sprint to catch up to BE and with it's new nerfs a sorc can't do that many, maybe 6-7 at full magicka which they usually escape after fighting a while.
Also any gap closer > BE.

✭✭✭✭✭Cloak is by far better, when under CC, surrounded by NPCs and 3 players, you can still cloak and escape. Can't do that with bolt. Plus you can also stop a player from bolting with other abilities0 -

I use it both offensively and defensively. When I say 'escape' I guess I mean 'defensive tool'. Either way it makes no difference as both skills are affected. When you streak, at the end of that streak you lose the forward momentum that you used to have. It's not a change that was recorded in the patch notes and therefore there is every chance it is unintended. Therefore I just want to know if it is meant to be like this or not!

It's nothing to do with doing everything right and everything to do with luck. If I am rooted I can't even choose a direction to streak. It's so easy to keep up with a streaking sorc.

MrGrimey✭✭✭✭✭If you're not able to use streak to escape, please uninstall the game. The lower damage and much slower paced combat gives sorcs (and everyone) multiple 2nd chances at escaping, only dif is that sorcs have the best escape in the game.
King Richard said it, he said that he would put Stam sorc over Stam nb in pvp because cloak is easily countered while he said that sorcery's mobility has no counter0
