I really want to play TESO again, but....

dennis.schmelzleb16_ESO
...I can't force myself to level my toons through this unbearable VR's.

I've played TESO until shortly afterl Craglorn was introduced and stopped because of the unplayable AvA.
Tried it again a few months again and leveled my Sorc to VR14, but stopped because my NB and DK were only at VR8 respectively VR1.

With the introduction of IC I thought about playing again, but thinking about leveling again to VR16 prevent me from doing so.

I bet that many many people feel the same, so please tell me that leveling VR ranks is much much muuuuuuuch faster now, than it was a few months ago.

I heard you now need less xp to gain a vet rank and that you get more xp from dolmens now.

I agree the Cadwell Silver and gold are bad. What's actually worse is Craghorn because there is no one doing the quests so I can't level lv Vet 11 - vet 14. As for standing around for 2 hours shouting "Looking for Group to play through Craghorn quests" rather than playing just doesn't appeal to me.

I find it no chore to go through cadwells. Always looking at it like "I remember how my main did here or there, let's see if this character has it harder or easier..." and of course I only do an hour or so each day, just enough for the enlightment-boosted c-point...

As for levelling post cadwells... that can be a bit dreary, but hey, with all the gankmeister busy ganking their heart out (or someone elses...) in imperial city, cyrodil is mostly gankfree, so pick a low pop campaign, and do the dailies... they are really good expees these days...

But yeah, if you like the rest, you better have a few good friendss in game to do it with. That applies to both craglorn and much of IC... but fear not, winter is... no, wait, wrong universe, -Orsinium- is coming... ;)

Hitting VR15 can be as simple as killing one zombie for VR14 chars. VR16 on the other hand can take a bit of time. IC is the probably the quickest way to level. Played roughly 6 hours in IC today, almost half way through VR15 now.
I was surprised how poor xp is in Cyrodiil. Went into two delves, up against VR15 enemy. Only 341xp per kill, while enlightened. You'd think they would drop at least 1600xp, if not 1820 while enlightened.

Took me about 6 hrs to get from 15 to 16 with xp scrolls.. The imperial city is the quickest. However if you dont have access to the imperial city the Crypt in Craglorn ( I cant remember the name of the place im not home and cant look but its the sarcophagus icon on the map on the western part of Craglorn) Take that quest, go into the crypt and kill EVERYTHING its great XP, one trip around doing the quest and killing everything will net you around 80-100k xp. You drop the quest go out and retake it (im not sure if you turn it in if you can go back in but everything stays dead once killed so im assuming you cant go back in).

You might need a friend though. I did this with one other person, he was dps killing everything I just ran around taunting and repentancing like mad.

Levelled four classes to v14 before v16; three of those were done with no XP boosters.

It's much, much faster now. You're barely time gated as you can level to v16 so quick now that VR quests give 100% more XP and normal mobs in IC Sewers give around 450 XP each with no boosters. Veteran Ranks now require 850,000 XP each instead of 1,000,000 XP.
