Was "Everything" Patched...?

So today, I decided to go and get some guts for fishing from an area where a bunch of rabbits are known for spawning in the Ebonheart Pact faction. And to my surprise, I noticed that upon being killed, the rabbits were no longer dropping guts or small game. So my question was if ZOS patched everything, and not just the things which weren't even being abused and exploited. For those curious, they were called "Darkwater Rabbit" rabbits. And for the record, this was not happening before the Imperial City update.

I wonder but we've had this happen before where landscape critters weren't dropping mats.

    Did you /bug it?

The guts were probably nerfed. For some reason things like that get the axe pretty quick. It's like that in most MMO's.

But the thing is, this wasn't something that was well-known or being abused by a bunch of folks. I've been using this spot since the game has been out on PS4, and I've not seen a single person just running about killing them by themselves. I've seen people killing them for the quest that's there, but not just to kill a regular animals you see roaming about. Something like the Glenumbra pig farm being patched, I could definitely understand. As it ruined the market for clothing materials, which is still not quite recovered. But, something as minuscule as guts and small game...? That's petty. Especially with the numerous other bugs and glitches going on in this game. That's real petty of Zenimax.

I hear what you are saying, and agree. But for some reason, there seems to be a dev in all games, that really hates these small unintended bonuses and goes after them with rigor. I've used that spot myself and it takes about ten minutes to get a stack of guts.

True... I just wish they gave the same attention to detail when it comes to things with a higher priority. Such as overall game stability, or implementation of MMO essentials (e.g. Auction House, barbershop, player housing, text communication(s), etc.) rather than the petty things. Otherwise, it just looks like the developers are really trying to kick their customer base while they're already down and out.

By the way. On the same note, I came across this whilst skimming the 1.07 Patch Notes for PlayStation 4:

    Provisioning
Cantaloupe bread is no longer mysteriously a plated meal when eaten.
Fixed a rare issue in which eating food of any sort would show you pantomiming eating the air.
The Connoisseur passive will now function as expected, even if you are silenced while drinking.
Fixed an issue where you could gather more meat than intended from some rabbits in Eastmarch.

So... Let me get this straight. You have a bunch of rabbits just hopping around in the wild freely, and if you kill them you get nothing? No guts or meat? As in nothing? Even though they're just rabbits roaming about in the wild, with a different name than just "rabbit"? What's the point of keeping them there then, if when you kill them you receive nothing? Please tell me this was intended. @ZOS_GinaBruno @ZOS_Alex

Here is what I'm tired of... killing NPC and receiving a 'carrot' for loot drop! Or any of the other vegetables that have suddenly become part of the loot drops.

More meat than INTENDED? What? lol. This game.

If you have the DLC, go Wrothgar, near Shatul Wayshrine, for instance. :-)
