Need advice from fellow Vampires

I am a light armor wearing Dark Elf vampire, who is getting one shotted consistently by lava whip. It seems to hit me for over 15k every time. Other than suggesting better armor or more health, does anyone have any other suggestions to counter this? Thank you.

    Yeah, cure vampirism. I was going down quicker than a pair of nickers on a wh... whenever there was fire involved. I was a Dunmer wearing light armour too. Just didn't think the benefits were that great. I would really hate to see how other races fare.

    Could use Fire resist rings and always keep your shields up

    Damage Shields help. Don't use fire resist though. Go for more spell resistance.

    if 15k is one shotting you, you have entirely to little health. hard to give you advice when we dont know your class either.

    Don't go for spell resist, use fire resist as it helps with all sources of fire...

    I have little health because my attributes are all in magicka. I supplement my health and stamina with food, but my health is still pretty low. My class is nightblade by the way. I think I might try stacking healing ward and dampen magicka. Then when lava whip hits me I will survive long enough to reactivate the shields again.

    Use blue health+magicka food. Easy to get 5k+ more health and magicka. Then Invest in fire resist. I can get 15% off with champion points and the extra 10% doesnt hurt me that much. Just keep efficient purge on your bar and you are fine. Personally, I would never run a vampire UNDER 20k health.

    How many champion points do you have invested in flame resist? I currently have about 15 or so. How many can I put into it before they don't benefit me anymore.
