Any Magic NB Get VR16 Gear?

Im currently a magicka nb and the damage output is ridiculously low my concealed weapon is hitting for 4.5k and fights are just taking way too long and i want to know if the VR16 gear is really going to make a difference.

    Yeah, it is. V16 gear benefits from both increased stats and increased boosts from enchantments.

    Otherwise how would they get you to play IC if you've already got the top tier endgame gear?

    If you want damage you have to use damage enchantment glyphs; this is good as it should've been this way since forever - took them awhile to boost damage glyphs but yeah; you want willpower rings with v16 spell damage glyphs and you're good to go.

    4.5k Concealed Weapon in PvP is pretty good actually. Or are you talking about damage against mobs?

    VR16 gear will let you up your spell power and the enchants (truly superb) will up your magicka a nice amount compared to vr14. Willpower jewelry is a must basically. Build around it.

    Even still burst is problematic. Can't count the number of times I have had the jump on somebody, gotten off a nice proxy det and had them on the ropes spamming impale only to have them heal out of it. Getting sick of the 50% derpiness myself and once again seriously considering either taking a hiatus or just moving on. No, you can't have my stuff. I'll destroy every single piece first. :)

    Yes the same thing happens to me i get them low as hell and its either 2 green dragons blood, a breath of life or a healing ward and bam full health. Should i go for scathing mage or is there any other set you recommend?

    I'm using 5 v16 Krag's Hope, 4 v16 Phoenix and 3 Willpower jewelry. I use spell power enchants x2 and magicka regen x1 on the Willpower pieces.

    Scathing mage would be really nice. I just don't see how I myself would ever get the full set/right pieces. I really don't want to run those dungeons over and over again like I did to get my Valkyn Skoria, which ironically was nerfed into Oblivion for 2.1. So I'm sticking with crafted gear for my main set.

    I think i might run 5 piece magnus 3 piece will power 2 tourags and 2 engine guardian
