Default Enchantments v15/16 gear

Does anyone know what quality the default enchantments on dropped v15/16 gear are (monster shoulders/helms and IC gear)? I am trying to figure out if it is worth putting a gold enchantment over the existing one that is the right stat that I got on a drop.

My understanding is that the enchant coincides with the Item level and the Item quality. Meaning if you have a V15 purple drop, it will have a V15 purple enchant. I personally wouldn't upgrade it if I were going from 680 magicka to 705 or whatever. But, if 5k is worth 30 or so extra for you, go for it!

At the moment I was thinking about a v16 purple Engine Guardian shoulders and trying to decide whether to put a gold enchantment on it. The key issue is that the new potency stones are so expensive at v16 (800 TV stones) I didn't want to buy/use one just to test it out.

Never though't i'd see the day that potency runes are more expensive than purple/gold aspect runes ^^
