OK, not going to lie, that was my first thought for a truly appropriate moon sugar substitute, but I don't really want to cook with that...Asherons_Call wrote: »Moon sugar substitute? That would be cocaine son. I'm Rick James b****!!!

Well, that is an ingredient that I can legally obtain, but I don't know... Some of my guests would definitely appreciate it.Hmm... What about a marijuana-infused simple syrup?

Everywhere in Canada, but it's only legal if you have a prescription (it's the only thing that really helps my migraines, due to an allergy to triptans) and it comes from an authorized producer. It'd be lore-friendly at least. I had a feeling Razum-Dar was stoned throughout Caldwell's Gold...
Also, where in Canada are you that you can obtain mj legally? I'm on Vancouver Island and even here the law is grey at best. Although the dispensaries certainly act like it's legal. xD

LOL. I have wondered the same thing about Alchemy potions. Finding the real-world equivalent plants and conjuring up a potion to see what it would do... probably just make me horribly ill.
I think you should make Telvanni Tea
ESO Ingredients:
- Lotus
- Acai Berry
- Honey
Real world Ingredients:
- Lotus
- Elderberry
- Honey
SweetrollSo.. banana corn muffins?
- Banana
- Corn
- Seasoning

As geeky as it sounds, a ESOCon (complete with a feast) sounds terribly fun. lol.
OK, a side conversation about pumpkin rabbit pie in this thread brought this up.
For a while I've considered trying to make a Tamriel-themed feast including only dishes based on recipes found in ESO. Naturally, this would be to serve to my real life friends who play/have played ESO.
So I'm asking the forums community, what recipes do you think would be the best for me to try to make? I'm looking for ones that don't require ingredients that are unobtainable outside of Tamriel, and ones that actually sound like they could be kind of tasty, while still being a bit unusual.
So what are your suggestions?
Whoa... No way am I going to go through every recipe in ESO!OK, a side conversation about pumpkin rabbit pie in this thread brought this up.

Someone from FFXIV did this once on their blog. Went through every recipe in the game and cooked a real life equivalent using ingredients from the item's recipe/description as close as they could to the game's food item, substituting ingredients where they had to (for stuff that wasn't real). It came out really good, and most of the food looked delicious.

Thanks for the correction!
