It just me or did PvE'ers get a slap to the face...again?

title says it. Seems like those of us that enjoy playing dungeons with friends to gain xp/loot/materials and do daily pledges have been shunned. Dungeon xp = zero, campaign bonuses only apply in PvP, and if you want to do the daily pledge you have to buy the dlc. We PvE'ers just took it pretty hard in the you-know-what. Anyone see any reason to do dungeons anymore? I mean before it was a fun way to pass the time that would eventually result in some decent xp but now the xp anywhere is unnoticeable, and the difficulty has gone up somewhat with the campaign bonuses disappearing. PvE just turned to crap, and from what I can see, imperial city is just an objective-less chaotic melee that will soon get very, very, very old.

Yet another new gen game that destroys half its content in an effort to force consumerism and their own brand of play style, alienating those who were enjoying it as it was.

I would say thanks for nothing, but that would imply that things didnt change. I was holding on to eso plus in hopes that the new changes would help PvE just as it obviously does for PvP, but now i know better. What a disappointment.

In my opinion quiet the opposite happened. Sure, the pvp campaigns are all full, but there doesn't happen much pvp, it's just pve people running around in huge groups killing npcs to get xp and gear. Additionally most good sets can only be obtained by doing pve dungeons while the sets you can buy from the pvp vendors haven't been updated to v16.

All they did was give slight buffs to numbers that had previously been nerfed to the ground. Percentage buffs to ground level numbers are still ground level. My friends and i are almost completely done with cadwells gold and we are nowhere near vet 12 let alone 16

Meanwhile theres tons of pre-xbox one accounts that got v14 off of exploits and polluted the xbox one server with their millions of gold when they imported. What a complete joke of an experience this is turning out to be. I seriously feel bad for convincing my friends and family to get this game now.

Maybe learn that not everything goes your way?

This is a game with a LOT of people playing it and putting money into it, many differing ideas and opinions. They can't make everyone happy.

As stated earlier, PVPers got a bad deal too with what was promised to be "PVP content" that turned out to be way more supportive of PVE players, with a way bigger focus on PVE then on the PVP.

It is in essence, a PVE DLC with the ability to attack other players, not actually a PVP DLC with a bit of PVE thrown in.

I fail to see your point.. I am currently VR15 about to be 16 and have yet to even start Cadwells silver, I also didnt touch pvp until VR14.. I think it just depends what you decide to do in game.. There are many ways to level besides questing.

If 18 massive zones isnt enough for PVErs I dont know what is, plus Craglorn, also later Orsinium. They should just make some cool system to promote alt-making. Housing might do it if it was some super awesome I think.

I'd settle for an exp bonus. 8 character slots, 10% boost per character at VRs? Make it not count towards CP. Or a flat 50% for all alts after getting one to VRs.

I'm sorry but I don't see why you need PvP buffs to run in PvE. Besides the Battle Spirit (always been Cyrodiil only) the keep and scroll buffs are rewards for the people that worked hard to take the right keeps crown on Emperor and steal scrolls. It's not a VDSA buff or a lets make VCOA run 30 fasters buff. It's for PvPers that put the work.

TL;DR. The hell do PvPers get when a group does anything in PvE nothing that's what why should you get bonuses for my work. You want the PvP buffs come to Cyrodiil we have Keeps, Castles, Forts, Risk and Death. We have lots and lots of Death and risk.

It needs to be more, we dont even have proper gear-grind in this game. Gear-grind was coolest thing ever like past 15 year, need to think something to replace it.

I still cant understand whats with the differentiation between pvp-ers and pve-ers. Must it be always this "WE" and "YOU" categorization?

I bet most of the playerbase are playing and enjoying both content. (Just have a look at those tiny pledges, the PvP ranks aside the names of the characters. You can barely see anyone without it. )

PvP may be zergy but I can have fun Solo or with a small group. You have a general idea as to what will happen but anything can happen that's the fun. PvE on the other hand is that thing you have to do for Undaunted passives and sets fighting the same boss and mobs that do the same thing at the same time it's just dumb. "No don't stand there stand on this rock, don't kill the mobs stealth pass them we don't need this part, anyone know a tank we need a tank and can't out heal this with no tank holding Argo." It's the same thing PvP can feel that way at times but it changes on a dime. PvE is just the same thing over and over again it's like beating a game for the tenth time no spark.

In fairness, most of those zones are not replayable. Do the content once and then there's nothing left to do. There's no incentive to even go back to them since you will have out-levelled them.

I didn't realize you couldn't do dungeons anymore? We must have a different copy of the game because I'm having no issues running dungeons. You're upset that PvP buffs only apply in PvP areas? Hmm, not seeing why it matters? If you aren't in PvP doing the work to keep the buffs there then you have no reason to have them as far as I'm concerned. I ran Crypt of Hearts tonight with a few others and all the drops were v16 which allowed us to deconstruct them for the materials. I'm not sure how PvE players got slapped in the face? I thought we all knew this was a PvP based update seeing how every single update before this has been PvE? You've gotten upper and lower Craglorn added to the game. You got trials, DSA and all of the undaunted updates. You've gotten way more content than those who have been playing in the same zone for the past year and a half doing the same exact thing every day. We didn't even get a pure PvP update. We still have to do PvE just to PvP.

Not true. Drops are mostly VR14 mixed with some rare VR15 parts. Don´t make things up to strengthen your point. Only the new dungeons drop exclusively high level items.

DSA and Trials are obsolete. Not scaling to VR16 and the dropped sets don´t fit in to the current gear setups. All variety is gone. Go with the new jewelry, best sets drop in new dungeons only, pvp gear not updated to VR16, AP worthless right now.

I guess we can say we all got slapped in the face and shouldn´t pick on each other but on the game design.

With all sets updated to VR16 (warlock, dreugh king, morag tong, and countless others) one could think about really creative builds but as it stands now we all get pigeon-holed in to buying the dlc and grind there.

But keep on fighting each other not seeing who the real culprit is. Oddly, I still have fun playing the game.

Dungeon exp didn't really feel that impressive before the change anyway. Way better turn around on CP and vet level from quests or grinding.

I'm a solitary, solo Pve guy, VR15, do not have any guilds nor groups...it's a very lonely & scary world. :disappointed:

I'm yet to set foot in IC.

Sure I tried the WGT & (insert name of other IC group challenge here lol) SOLO, and lasted as long as you'd expect.
But at the moment I have most of Cyro to myself (yes I've done it all but grinding for cash & mats to be able to buy into or craft VR 15-16 gear is important), with no one else in Craglorn (same story as Cyro).

So while everyone else on XBox EU zergs IC, plundering all the loot I would aspire to gain, I'll keep slowly grinding until they all get bored, or I can find a guild to join, & just keep making a few bucks & gaining a few XP (gee it's lovely when CWC isn't full of groups zerging the XP).
At the same time building new skill trees to try new setups when I can.

Sure I'd like my stamina regen back, or Vigor & bone shield...but bored?...hell no...I still can't even pick a lock without a gimmy...

They even gave you 2 new dungeons in a PvP dlc.

This update has more pve content than pvp content. Its basically a giant pve area with pvp enabled. Both dungeons are great for end game pve-ers because they are actually hard to complete (unlike most other dungeons) and you get useful loot.

Be happy there's new content and its mainly pve focused. All other content updates had nothing for pvp-ers.
