If they added a cape for say 300-900 crowns that i could equip but didnt completely change my outfit like a tabard and also Dye it. I would buy it in an instance for my Nightblade.

How about you? Hell I'd pay even more for the Nightingale armour

I'd buy a cape or cloak. I'd prefer a cloak. Even if it was painted on like the other costumes (no layers). If it could be dyed, I'd pay up to 1000 crowns.

It would have to be a lot more than 900 crowns to pay for the devs to add cape animations. Unless you are okay with a stiff cape that can magically pass through matter.

Aren't archers depicted with capes right in the main opening screen?http://teso.mmorpg-life.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/03/eso-tamriel-unlimited.jpg

I would say okay to cloaks. Capes are kinda silly and unoriginal to me, every mmo seems to dump them in at some point. To each his own I guess but to me only royalty or nobles should wear a cape for ceromonies. Our characters are neither Of these things.

That's why I'd be cool if it were painted on like all the other costumes.

I'd rather pay to not have capes added...

    Was "ok" on DAoC.

Another cool thing about them was the /hood command.

Speak for yourself, I'm a noble prince... Not that I want a cape though. I think a monocle would be better and a pocket watch and maybe even a diamond tipped cane and of course a top hat.

I don't get it, why do people not want capes? It's part of the lore, in Skyrim people would wear hide/thick cloth cloak to keep themselves warm. Not having a cloak in a fantasy game is like not having animations for a dance game, or not having books in a classroom. I'd say YES to cloaks/capes just allow us to turn the cape/cloak off like the helms.
