The description for the 5-piece set says Soul Trap but does it influence Soul Strike also? Can't test this myself because I do not have enough traits researched to make the set yet.

Soul Trap skills means the ability Soul Trap and its morphs, not Soul Strike, which makes this 5 piece bonus even worse than what it used to be.
If it affected Soul Strike as well it would provide the possibility of a cool PvE build, but I think this will not happen because of PvP – Soul Strike with double the damage would be a sure kill ...- Templars: Slower by Design® -0 -
