PS4 IC Patch issues?

I have NBN running 97 down and 36 up, the patch for ESO is has been sitting at preparing to download 50% for hours and when I do stop it it will sometimes jump to preparing to download 95% then it starts to download.
It then tells me I have 14gig out of 19 and it will take 10 hours to download?
Is there a way to get around this or is this poor patch implementation or is this just an overloaded PSN store?

patch worked fine for me, no issues at all. took a couple of hours to complete.
try changing the MTU - it will be automatically at 1500 but try something like 1470 as I found that made the previous last patch speed up a lot.0 -

Is that MTU in the router or in PS4?

willymchilybily✭✭✭✭My PS was at 15G with a 5 hour wait. i put it into rest mode (make sure rest mode settings allow download) it took <1/2 hour. i seem to notice download speed is much quicker when the console is in rest mode, not trying to connect to PSN and friends.

RooBeeO✭✭Downloading was slow for me and even stopped for a few hours.
What I did was pause the download. Then unpaused it.
This then resets the download and speeds the download up, for some reason.
Put it this way I saved over 5hrs downloading doing it this way, I'm using ADSL2.1
