Unable to Change Chat Channel - Countdown constantly on Repeat

Has anyone else had this issue? I am in a group but unable to switch from Area Chat to any other channel as the countdown keeps restarting at 6 as soon as it reaches zero :/

    Dashboard, press start on panel with the game on it, hit quit, reload game.

    It happens to me all of the time whenever I jump around my different toons. I log off on one, jump to another, and then the chat bugs out.

    Gotta reload the game.

    Thanks for the advice.

    Something I've tried already as well as hard resetting my Xbox and clearing the console saved game sand Blu-Ray cache to no avail.

    ..... Thought I was being punished for sending out so many Guild Invites for Tamriel Trading Company but my other characters work OK.... Annoying since I'm trying to recruit and I can't interact.

    I have had the same on PS4 a few times, it's a pain but rebooting sorts it out.
    Looking for a good NA PS4 guild that offers a bit of everything? New to the game and lost? Need some guidance and help?

    Have exactly the same problem. Started with the IC update. Tried hard reset, reboot, logging in and out, deleting saved game data. Nothing works. I have a wired connection with open NAT. I am also unable to change voice channels.

    What I have noticed is that, even when area chat works, the microphone symbol is always flashing. Wondering if this is the same for the OP?
