I've waited for this update for so long hoping to help Templars out a bit but I'm not really seeing anything helpful to us other than a few healing balances. My Templar is a full-fledged healer and I honestly love healing, but it's only VR1 and doing things outside of queueing for dungeons is very bland, slow, boring.

I've always been a PvP lover but I after the update I don't see being of very much use still. Sucks. Guess I'll go level another class, xd


EDIT: Has anyone found anything in particular that has been successful or works well yet?

    Well as v1 in pvp its pretty hard with any class but I can tell you magicka templar at v16 with new gear is just awesome. the 50% dmg/heal reduction did wonders

    templar VR16 pvp is awsome indeed. i prefer magicka but stamina still good.

    the basic setup of 4 magnus 3 torugs works well as a starting point for pvp

    3 willpower (jewelry, enchanted with spelldamage and health)
    Bufffood: stamina/magicka regen

    unbuffed stats are:
    24.304 health, 28.513 magicka, 9.644stamina
    1391 magicka-, 1166 stamina regen
    3258 spelldmg, 40% spellcrit
    26.488 spellresist, 11.027 armor

    these stats are with emp bonus in pvp on my dw bar

    Wow that build looks great! I really wanted to go Magicka after the skill reset as well as going DW, I'm so stealing this! Thank you~

    okay ill do that but the scrolls do so its 10% more than in pve

    Anyway, that is a whole lot of spell power. Still not sure how you are getting 1000+ more spell power than me.

    edit: just noticed you enchanted your jewelry with sp damage, so that's a few hundred there.

    what mundus stone do you use? Mine is apprentice which is another good boost to spelldmg

    just like I wrote above 4x martial knowledge, 3x willpower with spellpower enchant, 1x molag kena and 3/4x torugs pact. I also use the apprentice for more spellpower

    I spent them all over the place to get the most benefit from the points and unlock the passives I need. I have a lot in elemental defender because im vamp, in the magician for reduced cost and in thaumaturge for max damage (atm I have 340cp)
