IC thoughts: After 1 day on XB1

I downloaded the DLC late afternoon and much to my surprise I was not stuck waiting for hours to finish the download. It took me about 15min, so good job on the compression (I'm sure my internet takes a lot of the credit also).

I like the campaign Scourge. It is a great alternative to the already dominated Azuras Star. There was some resistance but not much because most people were in IC. And they were zergging! Lol

I jumped right in and quickly got a kill off a guy trying to navigate. So it was an easy-ish 30 stones.

When I say easy-ish, I mean this damage reduction is going to take some time to get used to. Also, I noticed a significant difference in need for resource management. I run a magicka NB and with all the possible adds that can be aggro-ed I can tell resource management will be an issue.

After about an hour I found myself at the back of our pack (a pickup group) and we ran into a HUGE serge of enemy players. I lost my 300+ stones. <--enter sad face here!

So we went up into the Memorial District and ran around. That was fun. I find it fun and very dangerous to be in CQ with enemies everywhere both NpC and PVP.

Bosses hit HARD! Holy mackerel! And their snares are almost impossible to escape. Learn to play your role. If you're a healer, then heal, and if you're range, stay at range. Haha

Chat kinda sucked because everyone was freaking out about enemies, NPCs and the new content so that needs some work.

I left and met up with guildmates and we went back in as two groups. Yes we became a serge. I noticed being up top got boring because it turned into a situation where we barely got any stones. I'm sure part of that is due to being in a big group and the rest is re spawning right in front of us just killing everything that moved.

We finally went back into the sewers and started to get more stones.

Chat got messy again so after I got about 500 stones I logged out.

So in my opinion,

I like it but some thing require some time to get used to.

Damage reduction
Resource management
Line of sight
Not losing group
Being councious of your stones and where you are at
Getting geared and passed the first few weeks to allow things to settle in.
