SO I jumped into PvP today. Got my ass whipped...repeatedly...but it was fun running with a group (thanks EP comrades!).

Anyways, for a lvl 42 is there any real way to learn playing with the VRs or is it better for be to do the lower level battle campaign til I level up?

Probably better to use the non-VR campaign for a while.

The best thing you can do however is find a PvP guild and start talking to the members for help on how to PvP, it's not a easy carry over if you've been doing a lot of PvE.

Thanks. Yeah, it is quite different (and fun) but I also think I need a fresh toon for it that is optimized for PVP. Tks.

Had a blast in the non vet campaigns.

When I got intoo the vet campaign I got my butt kicked numerous times, and now with Vet9 still do.

All I see in here are Vet14, 300+ CP and golden Items. Its a long way to be able to compete with these Vet14s.

So. Join a group and zerg your way through until you hit V14, gear up, grind your CPs and have fun. Meanwhile, enjoy dying a lot.

Changing up your skills and stuff is usually all it takes to go from a PVE ready build to a workable PVP build. Some of my more PVE oriented characters have now grown into regular PVPers with very little changing.

As to your opening post, the nonvet campaign is a bit easier to learn the basics, but that being said, the vet campaign is still good if you prefer it.

Words of advice, don't overextend yourself and do try to stay near the main group while in the alliance war. Also, siege is very useful in big fights, start practicing with some when you get the chance.
