GDB is just a really bad skill, I don't know why it gets overrated so much. People think it's this amazing survival skill, where as in reality it only heals for tiny tiny amounts, unless you sacrifice literally everything to raise your healing received, and even then it's still a lot worse than Breath of Life, for which a Templar didn't have to sacrifice anything.
Stamina builds need to keep up the combination of Rally and Resolving Vigor to survive. GDB is a massive waste of a slot.
So if I use vigor/coagulating/obsidian/rally that's 4 slots just to heal....
T.T I don't have enough slots for other stuffz. That being said though I guess all I need for dps is crit Rush and WB... I can make my bow bar an utility bar with snipe.. Will try this out ty!
@willymchilybily : the heal reduction applies to IC pve content too no? Like when ur farming stones and etc?
@Lefty_Lucy how do you feel about the dk with regards to sustain? I feel like my Gdb without obsidian shield is totally gimped and next to useless. Like I use vigor over dragons blood now and as a stamina dk I use more weapon and vamp abilities and literally the only dk skills I use are flames of obl and searing strike. I feel like most of our class skills are pretty lackluster at the moment.

I found myself dropping coagulating blood with this update and replacing it with Vigor. I pretty much only use unstable flame and petrify for stamina DK. I'll throw burning breath on there every now and then, but for most abilities, I am reaching outside of the DK trees, like you mentioned.
At this point, the best part about the stamina DK is the passives. Namely, battle roar.
@willymchilybily yes I do find it difficult in pvp. I pretty much lose 50% of my fights. When I win its mostly because I hit a crit rush followed by a light into wb+ heavy with animation cancel+ light+executioner insta gib QQ
Also when I'm losing I just mist form and bats warm comboed with move speed boost from bow tree after dodge roll to easily get away(most of the time). So I don't really die that often.
What my build needs is more sustain + being able to not need to run away so much.

I'm hesitant to give advise not being the best PVP player, and not having IC until tonight so what worked in 1.6 may not fair so well in IC. And it comes down a lot to personal preference, i don't use a DK to nuke an enemy down i use it to outlast them and be tanky, if thats not your play style my suggestions may not be for you so ill try to be generic.
armor types:I like to have 2 Hev, 5 Med armor and recently started using reinforced traits for my DK, making sure the heavy pieces on chest+head/legs. (sounds like you just crafted your set so probably dont want to change it, but consider it if you decide to try a different crafted set). It depends if you want the extra +2% base stats from undaunted passives or more of the heavy armor passives? i prefer the armor passives.
skill balance:The first thing that strikes me is the amount of damage moves and damage buffs you have. Drop flames of oblivion and you will be in good shape to put some more utility on your bar, i imagine you already have good crit? I wouldnt try to dps from bow personally, but that's up to you, I enjoy magnum shot, which combos with crit rush really well, and is a stun, and makes space. And use heavy attack over snipe myself. it is virtually the same damage and cast time with CP, and nice stamina returned. but that's all personal preference.
ultimate choices:I use bow for range, and to annoy the enemy. So i would not use bats here. i would use dragons leap it has nice range and combos really well with the other skills
utility:So far you have almost entirely stamina abilities and no magicka (but mist form which you only used to get away). This gives you options now in your spare slots. You should see you can actually slot 1 or 2 magicka moves and even use them reasonably frequently especially if you are using drinks over food. I myself found even as a stamina character i could use reflective scales enough to make it worth slotting on the bow bar. This is where you can try more heals with igneous, more mitigation with spiked armor, removing dots with purge, etc without vastly changing what you are use to but just adding more to it.
