In case you are below lvl 50 I strongly recommend the non veteran campaign (Blackwater Blade). If you are a veteran rank player, it depends on the server and what kind of pvp you are looking for.

Oh. Sorry I'm New so trying to figure out how this all works. It says the non veteran Campaign is full, should I still make that, my home campaign?

Still home this campaign, otherwise don't pvp. PvP'ing in a vet campaign at below level 50 is just painful.

Even if it's locked, you can still wait in the que.

Moonlight Crew (RIP), Misfitz (RIP), Victorem Guild

VR16 NB, Stam build, Max all crafts.

Azuras & Trueflame. Mostly PvP, No alts.

Semi-retired till the lag is fixed.

Love the Packers, Bourbon, and ESO...one of those will eventually kill me.

Good luck my friend. I agree with the advise given. Stay in the Non-Vet campaign as long as you can. Also, the way this game is, its super easy to get discouraged by PvP. Don't be discouraged, there is a lot to learn before you can actually be effective. Group with people and learn the ways of your class.

Thanks. I can kinda work alone but prefer a group bc I'm a templar archer, so I can pick off from a distance and heal allies

If players are under VR and want to die rapidly and often, feeding AP to overpowered AvA vets, join any other campaign than Blackwater.

Oh, and a campaign that is "full" may not be totally full yet. Queue up for it and do something else, while waiting for a notification.

Power level to CP160 in a week:
Where is the end game? You just played it.
Why don't I have 300+ skill points? Because you skipped content along the way.
    Where is new content? Sigh.

    Greeting @Discoman94

What a very nice way of asking! :)

I'll throw you a few tips.

As @Darlgon says, a full campaign only means that the zone is "full" Just que. It does not mean you can not choose it.

    First,
Cyrodiil is warfare. Not arena/dueling nonsense. Think war. Armies. Not one soldier who does everything. Teamwork is hugely more powerful then any stats/gears.
"Winning the battle and loose the war" - This is a very common mistake to make in Cyro. Sure, you defeat 5 players alone! But get tricked by doing so and the enemy takes the war victory from you.

There is no right or wrong way to be in Cyro.
You die, you loose. Your Alliance loose scrolls/keeps/resources, you loose the campaign.
    It is that simple.

Every player in Cyrodiil are level 50, even if you are less then 50. Its the skill points/skills/stats/gear/personal skill, that increase with level, ranks and time. Players lower then level 50, gets scaled up. This improves in the next "major update".

30/14/7 days are the duration of the campaigns before a winning side. They are the same "Cyrodiil" but their own server and have different kinds of players and "politics". (Cyro is the best drama series you ever get!).
The campaigns starts over fresh at the end of each duration.

You get rewards at the end of your home campaign, depending how well you do in the conflict, what position in the list you have (Press L) and how lucky you are. The rewards are random. You also get gold rewards depending on if your alliance win or loose.

The different campaigns are more different in their players more then the mechanics.
    • The 30 days are more hardcore ish. Several types of teams, guilds, groups and a whole a lot of additude!
    • The 14 days seams to be the most light, straight forward combat and just wham/bam/join groups and kill stuff.
    • The 7 days seams to be (Careful..I said "seams") used for getting fast rewards and emp titles.

The non vet campaign is good for anyone new to Cyro. A good place to start!

Grouping in Cyro is always better no matter what you want to do.
Solo is relaxing since you don't need to think about anyone and can do your thing. :-p.

    Regarding healing:
AE heals works on all allies in Cyro. You do not need to be grouped to heal/buff. You do a lot of good by just follow people around and heal. AE heals gives very good exp and alliance points as well.

The far most powerful skill to use in Cyro is Blocking and dodge-roll. It takes time to master these, but if you do, you find any gear/playstyle is much easier when you take very little damage.

Block reduces all incoming damage from everything as long as you press the button and got stamina. Works on all weapons. (You are not required to have a shield).

    Also,
look at siege weapons. Sieges do more damage to players then most skills and can be places on the ground and on keep walls. In your keep, you can unleash hell on your enemy with sieges without them be able to shoot you back! You use siege weapons to bring down enemy keep walls, to take the keep.

When you enter Cyrodiil for the first time, you get a new quest that shows you how to use Sieges. That gives you a good idea and a skill point.

As a healer, I'll suggest just ask in zone for a group and follow them around.

    Happy hunting.

Thank you, this was most helpful!! Since this is my first MMO I've been fairly lost for some of the game lol. After a veryyy long queue time I was able to pvp.. But bc I don't have a mount, I did a fair bit of running

If you decide you like PvP, the more important decision is, which guild. It's a whole different game in a decent guild, and a much better one.

    Ratbag AD Warden Tank
    Goblins AD Stamblade

PVP in the vet campaign even as a vet can still be pretty painful. Best advice, play in the non vet for as long as you can.

Yeah, I'm starting to realize that lol. Solo is hard. Twice today I had to defend a fort by myself, bc my allies were off distracted in a useless battle elsewhere. I'm actually a really good strategist and can read battle situations. But without guild im just watching the armies attack forts while the ones behind us are being sieged, it's very frustrating

So what would you recommend setting as home and guest campaign for a VR6 looking to start earning some ap?

    @Eas007

Depends on your platform, server, and faction. As things stand now, I'd recomend setting your home to the 7 day campaigns and your guest to the 30days. This will be the easiest and cheapest way to explore the campaigns and pick a good fit, since it will be easier to swap your home after a week when the campaign ends.
