Compilation of various common thread topics

I think this forum needs a single thread (preferably a sticky) that exists for the sole purpose of directing people to threads that currently exist for the topics that people tend to create threads for. People seem to always come here making new threads for topics already discussed or under discussion which tends to cloud over new topics resulting in them not being noticed as much, especially since people would rather go to those discussions instead.

Before you dismiss this idea think about it: Threads that have received a large amount of posts usually grab attention from devs. People making multiple posts that don't get as many replies because of it being a worn-out topic are less likely to get addressed than a single post with hundreds of replies.

I should also mention if a thread is made it will consist of links to all the threads representing these common topics.

Well, I think your heart's in the right place but there's this thing up there ^ called a Search box. If folks can't be bothered to type a couple words in there, I have little faith they will bother to look it up in here.

And that is when mods can step in. At the very least they will know which topics have an already active thread.

You misunderstand. A single stickied thread would point out all the main threads for each common topic. And by common topic I mean things like console text chat, skill complaints like Snipe and Wrecking Blow, bug complaints like Cold Siege Weapons, and so on. Basically things people always talk about here across various threads and as a result get a lot of posts but not nearly as many as a single topic pointed out would provide.

Just make a checklist for these forums and post them in every duplicate thread, like so:

[ ] CPs make chars too powerful
[ ] Stop breaking the game
[ ] Why is this not Skyrim 2
[x] People keep posting the same stuff guise
[ ] [Skill] needs adjustments, I am a pvp expert
[ ] Downtime when
