I've found templars very easy thanks to readily available heals. Nightblade were the hardest to master. That said, each class is fairly easy to start the game as, there isn't really any massively challenging content you'd need a specific build for.

This is almost exactly what I was going to say, although for me I found Templars the easiest to level with mostly because between the Reflective Light morph of Sunfire and the Puncturing Sweep morph of Puncturing Strikes you can easily take out groups of mobs before they even get a chance to hurt you - the easily available heals are just icing on the cake.

Puncturing Sweep is so great partially because of its heal component. :)

That's very true, but to be honest while leveling in PVE as a Templar, I've found most groups of mobs don't live long enough for the healing component to even come into play. The healing component is the main thing that keeps my magicka Templar alive when soloing groups of mobs in IC though... I rotate through some other skills as well to get better DPS, but Puncturing Sweep is my bread and butter - primarily because it heals me while doing damage.

As above, but you need to think what type of class you want end game.

You may discover you like the play style or wish you'd levelled something else.

I guess if you enjoy the levelling process then that may not be an issue.

Though, I've found that even at v16, fighting the PVE mobs in the IC sewers is anything but easy if you're not in at least a two-man group. Zombies, maybe, but if you're up against more than one staff-wielding xivkyn, it gets rough really fast, since their AI isn't conducive to them clumping up so you can use punc sweep reliably. Plus they've got a boatload of health, o the beam doesn't really come into play for a while when you're fighting them.

TBH, I've had an easier time killing mobs in the sewers with my v4 NB bow orc, since at the very least I have a lot more stam to dodge roll, and can keep everything at bay with bombard.

So far i have rolled a Dragon Knight tank, a Magicka Templar, and a Stamina Nightblade. I personally think Magicka templar is very simple to play. (Atleast with my current build). A good amount of sustain combined with some great self heals allows you quite a good amount of survival. It's also going to be good to play for group play whether it's PvP or PvE.

Templar for beginners. You can level up just by spamming blazing spear.

Templars are easiest IMO. No other class lets you win that easily just by spamming one skill... be it the jabs, or the jesus beam, or even the sunlight bolts... and theres tons of selfheals too. With a magica build you can win while half asleep. Stamina builds are maybe a tad harder, but still pretty easy.

Magica nightblades are also pretty easy, just spam all that siphoning stuff and drain their life away. Meshes really well with vampire too...

Magica Sorceror and DK may be tied in class easiness... depends how you build them.

Stamina DKs are a little harder, but still pretty easy, if at times somewhat boring (keep in the fight until ulti charges, plop down standard for the win)

Stamina Bow Nightblades are not quite that easy, but can be quite effective...

Stamina sorcerors are a lot harder... but still doable.

Stamina Melee Nightblade I found the hardest... especially if you don't go for the 2H approach...

Sorcerers are by far the easiest. Grab 10 mobs, press hardened war then critical surge, drop daedric minefield or volcanic rune, splash a hint of Liquid lightning, pulse pulse pulse.. Never lose health. You have to be bad to die on this class.

You definitely misunderstood the question. Not a single one of the skills that you mention will be available to a beginner.

Another vote for Magicka Templar, with a warning that they are usually not the best at end game content, unless you are ok with going as a healer. You can still do fine as a DPS etc. in a good group though. Nightblade is more challenging but better at PvP stuff; Sorcs have higher DPS and surviveability; DK's are awesome tanks and strong at DPS with the right skills and experience. That said, Templars are really good for starting off, and very flexible.

The easiest class to play as is the one best suited to your play style. I have heard however Dragonknights are a beginner's best friend due to their capable combat prowess but that all depends on you.
