[PS4] Cyrodiil is Unplayable

I know Imperial City is 3 days away but can you please explain why this game has gone extremely laggy in the last week or so? I'm not exaggerating here, it's UNPLAYABLE -- our abilities will stop working, there'll be a 5+ sec delay and then we disconnect. Who are "we?" over 20 different people in my raid group are claiming the exact same symptoms for a week or more now.
I'm talking about straight-up freezes and disconnects, never mind the crash errors.
I didn't want to make a QQ topic but I'm getting sick of this now.

✭✭I really try and avoid making QQ topics about lag and those kind of issues since I'm a patient person and I just learn to deal with it, BUT this is non-stop throughout the whole session and I know it's not my internet because other games like WoW have normal ping, high FPS -- now my PS4 is wireless but still, it weren't this laggy a couple of weeks ago, so I really don't see it all coming down to my PS4 since many other people are complaining about it too.
Definitely the EU server Tequila, yeah..

I'm on my own but it just happens that whatever keep I go to that is close to the zergs outside, it goes absolutely mental and it never used to. We could zerg both factions in the same area and still not DC as much as this. From the time I made this topic, I've had 3 DCs. Looks like I'm calling it for today, gonna play another game.

✭✭And in extreme cases like this, the only obvious way to avoid the DCs would be to avoid going to the keeps that are being zerged, yes? then that means I can't even play the game and try to defend a keep without DCing. Gunphu✭✭✭The same thing happens on Xbox. I run wired Cat 6, 16×4 DOCSIS 3.0 modem, open NAT, portforward, and a 150DL 20UL connection. Anytime I get around more than a grand total of 8ish players the framerate tumbles and there is a very good chance of a DC.1 -

✭✭✭Cyrodill was laggy to begin with. With IC it seemed better but that was because people where in the sewers farming. Now that is over for some people they decide to go back to overland PvP. And it is more laggy then ever.٩(͡๏̯͡๏)۶

icontested✭✭✭✭PSN is bogged down. With the blops 3 beta, plus new games coming out PSN is saturated. I own both consoles, but I play ESO on playstation 4. Xbox one and xbox live is running good. With black ops 3 and another game that starts with a D having PS timed exclusives that are releasing soon PSN is working hard. NDwarf✭✭✭It was bad Sat night PS4 NA. I mean trying to use focus aim and seems like nothing is happening then my target drops dead. Happened a few times. I'm sure there will be a few "nerf NB snipers they hit with snipe 5 times in a second" post after that. I mean from my end it looked like nothing was happening and I'm button mashing snipe then dude drops and I get 15/20 Templars killed update heh.
Been on the receiving end too. The old, "my character is running along, stops dead in his tracks, drops dead and there's a death recap," pvp lag kicked in big time. The funny thing about Cyrodiil lag is it seems like everything is fine. No one is rubberbanding, games seems to be running smoothly until it comes time to use an ability and attack a target then things get wonky.
If Imperial City plays as laggy and crashes as much as Cyrodiil on console there's going to be a forum riot.Edited by NDwarf on September 13, 2015 7:36PM0 -

Honestly I used to enjoy it when it came out, then the first dlc dropped and I was like "oh so new players can get better gear than me faster than I can!?" then the next dlc in which they completely changed their minds on how ascension would work.
Now this atrocious piece of crap comes out, they literially took everyone's year one work and gave it the finger.
To all of you not in the know, image up ic release zos said "all weapons of higher than green quality will have all their stats reduced by 50%, there is a new crafting style that you will have to learn from scratch to craft new gear, so all that time researching gear is useless, oh and any new player buying the game has their first 3 characters automatically leveled to vr14 with full gold gear given out, with set traits that only they can recieve!"
That's what happened, and it's why I felt surprisingly relieved to sell the game asap.0 -
