Vicious Ophidian Five Piece Nerf

So this is something I wanted to bring up when I noticed it when Imperial City dropped but never did. The devs mentioned in their patch notes that they were nerfing the 1-4 piece weapon and spell damage set bonuses but they also nerfed the five piece of vicious ophidian weapon damage. The other five piece is just stam return which isnt really useful since templars are already running repentance on cooldown and can throw shards. Should a crafted six trait set really be better than the top pve trial stam set? Currently the only real use for vicious ophidian is be worn by progression VDSA tanks so they can spam steel tornado. Anyone else feel that the nerf to WD was a little unnecessary on vicious?

    This set is not really needed anymore because it is v14...only good for grinding now.

    However, I remember:

    1st Nerf from 260 Weap dmg to 180
    2nd Nerf from 180 Weap dmg to 130

    it used to almost as powerfull as Hundings. Now its crap

    If you compare v14- v16 set bonuses, there really isnt much of an increase in stats. As far as v16 is concerned, only the jewelry and weapons are seriously better. For the most part, the new dungeons sets are next to impossible for a normal player to complete so if the five piece of vicious was restored then it could be considered a major contender for a lot of current players that is the only reason I bring it up.

    Excellent point. I think the reason to the nerf was to promote content clearing for the new sets. Meta manipulation.....

    First of all T when you are Zenimax you do whatever the *** you want no matter what Zenimax is the best gaem company evar im sure they had a reason for "nerfing" VO I mean I can still wear my VO and look baller AF on the rock...     Nah but for real though Zenimax WTF? Way back when crafted gear was meta and everyone could get ahold of it... Back then I dont think anyone really cared but point is it got nerfed. Then Vicous became Meta for stamina builds and you nerf that... Multiple times too. Too much swinging of the nerf bat going on with you guys. I mean I get that ya'll want people to buy the new content but nerfing the gear so that they are forced to farm BoP items in a what is it? 25$ DLC? Like really? Some people dont have the money nor desire to buy you DLC and they shouldnt have to if they dont want to.

    HOWEVER, the armor glyphs for v16 are significantly better than v14. That is the major difference.

    Everybody needs to know this before they invest their resources into what they think is end game gear..
    Make Rush of Agony "Monsters only." People should not be consecutively crowd controlled in a PvP setting. Period.

    I have tested the difference in the amount of resources that you get back from v16 vs v14 glyphs. An infused heavy piece at v14 gold with a kuta gives 876 health while a v16 infused would give 1176. Which is a difference of about about 1k on the heavy pieces. To me this is pretty mickey mouse.
