Well title says it all!

-(DK, NB, Temp, Sorc)
-(Races)
-(Vampire/Werewolf/None)
-(Attributes)
-(Weapon)
-(Armour)
-(The most important spells that you are going to use)

Have fun building the only character that you have! ;D

I couldn't possibly handle only having one character. Blasphemer!!!!
Tenesi Faryon of Telvanni - Dunmer Sorceress who deliberately sought sacrifice into Cold Harbor to rescue her beloved.
Hisa Ni Caemaire - Altmer Sorceress, member of the Order Draconis and Adept of the House of Dibella.
Broken Branch Toothmaul - goblin (for my goblin characters, I use either orsimer or bosmer templates) Templar, member of the Order Draconis and persistently unskilled pickpocket
Mol gro Durga - Orsimer Socerer/Battlemage who died the first time when the Nibenay Valley chapterhouse of the Order Draconis was destroyed, then went back to Cold Harbor to rescue his second/partner who was still captive. He overestimated his resistance to the hopelessness of Oblivion, about to give up, and looked up to see the golden glow of atherius surrounding a beautiful young woman who extended her hand to him and said "I can help you". He carried Fianna Kingsley out of Cold Harbor on his shoulder. He carried Alvard Stower under one arm. He also irritated the Prophet who had intended the portal for only Mol and Lyris.
    ***
Order Draconis - well c'mon there has to be some explanation for all those dragon tattoos.
House of Dibella - If you have ever seen or read "Memoirs of a Geisha" that's just the beginning...
Nibenay Valley Chapterhouse - Where now stands only desolate ground and a dolmen there once was a thriving community supporting one of the major chapterhouses of the Order Draconis

A friend of mine just asked me the exact same question two days ago^^
I couldn't really answer it, though, since there are some different builds or classes I like.

Well, I like DK for the wings, NB for the extra stamina, Templar for the beam, and a Sorc for the extra magicka.
I like a two-hander just as much as a flamestick; they're very different weapons, but they all have their qualities.
And armor.. it depends on the build :)

But if I really need to only pick one... hm.. no, I can't decide it^^

I'd stop playing until they allowed me to change my class (and probably race). Once they did that I'd rotate my one (sob, one?!) toon around as my mood changed. But there's no way they'd ever limit us to one toon, not at this point.

A game generally does not limit you to one character and if it does it is per account. Needless to say though if everyone was forced into using just one character it would be their main simply because that is why they call it a main.

it'd have to be stick 'n' skirt i'm afraid.
if you just look at pure /played numbers, my sorcerer dps with a destruction staff is my uncontested main followed by two healers (altmer templar with resto staff and bow, and argonian nightblade with resto staff and destro staff) and a redguard stamina dragonknight. i just like pushing buttons and shooting spells at people i suppose

as for races, when creating a character i start with a rough build i'm going for then pick an appearance to build a cool character around it. my sorc dps is a skinny, pale, ghostly breton with white hair and robes, my argonian healer's robe has lots of skulls like a witchdoctor, etc. sometimes the race has passives that help, sometimes not so much, though i never completely contradict it like by making an orc magicka dps or something

I do play with just one :)

    Female WE NB.

Stacked stam build, maxed out prov, alch, cloth and smithing as soon as i could and am on enchanting now.

Minimum combat abilities as they come after all support is maxed, my toon is 90% self sufficient right now at V7, V8 tonight.

The combat abilities i do have are brutal, I'm squishy but also a killing machine in the right situation - V10 thru 16 will be my combat phase of my master plan :)

I recommend it but its not for everyone lol.

Ah, a soulmate. I tried to bring that character in here at launch, my Spellsword. He lasted in a duo with a friend until VR7 then had to go full caster to be viable. He was a lot of fun in pvp with the Thunderous set, Lightning form, etc. Many a Nightblade committed suicide with Flurries on those procs lol.

I may try to resurrect him with the new enchants and gear.

*Argonian, Natural resist poison and disease, + swim faster 50%. Which is really useful for this build, because alchemy is super easy and has many uses. And with this build you are a healer that can throw out mass amounts of dps. Argonians have a natural 15% increase with restoration staves aswell.

*Templar, Perk into all Three Templars Skill Lines,

1.Aedric Spear-The First one, and second. And perk into all passives but spear wall.

2.Dawn's Wrath-Sun Fire the first one. Perk into all passives except prism.

3.Restoring Light-The First, and I would choose that special. Perk into all passives.

*Alchemist, alchemy ingredients are everywhere. Perk heavily into it. I even recommend getting the hurling to send you ingredients daily.

Lady's Smock mixed with Corn flower can make you a restore magicka + major sorcery (spell damage)
Blessed thistle + dragonthorn gives you restore stamina and increase weapon damage.
Columbine + lady's smock + Mountain flower gives you a trifecta restore health, magicka and stamina

Mixing, Bugloss, blue entoloma, lady's smock, mountain flower, water hyacinth, luminous russula, and columbine will result in restore health any combo.
    Plus many many more combinations!

Get the Alchemy KEEN EYE. You will have more than enough perks.

*Light armor, not to much use for the light armor ability. but invest in all the passives. They will grant insane magicka boosts.

*Restoration staff, Just Passives all but the last. Don't invest in the abilities.

*Mages and Fighers Guild- Invest in the passives Persuasive Will, and Intimidating Presence.

*And really dude take on clothing. It's easy. And the most rewarding with gear. You can make your self some awesome armor. And research All there traits. If you want. Or tthat might be more for the invested player.

    *PvE and PvP.
Experience all the game has to offer. So much. Pick up every lore book ran at every anchor drop. Join a guild make some friends. Who knows you might stick with it longer than you think.

*Alliance is up to you if you are investing into the 'Adventurer Pack' from the crown store. But if not Pact for this Build.

Thanks for reading if you kinda follow this example you can heal yourself to the end of nirn and oblivion.

----Provisioning is never a bad idea too, massive buffs for what ever you want.

Since ESO is the first MMO I've ever played, my Imperial Templar is my first-ever character. Her name is Freyja Wulf. Freyja always will be my favorite because she is my first.

Freyja recently made vr16. She is maxed out to 50 on all her skill lines, all three armor types, 2h greatsword, bow, destruction and restoration staffs. She takes all passives in her class skill trees and weapon trees. She always wears at least five pieces of medium armor, but takes all light, medium and heavy armor passives except for the one passive in the light and heavy trees that is for wearing a five-piece set.

Freyja has always been DPS even though Imperial Templars were the worst DPS race/class for a long time, 2h sucked, and bow was (and remains) a situational weapon. For awhile I did experiment with making her a healer exclusively, but didn't enjoy playing that style.

I've used all her class skills, and all the weapon skills for 2h, bow, destro and resto staffs, and don't have any particular favorite skill. I've found the 2h greatsword and bow combo to be very useful in IC.

My favorite ultimate is Shooting Star from the Mages Guild tree. Low cost, quick to fill back up to use again, and hits hard. My second favorite is Nova from the Dawn's Wrath tree, and I've used both its morphs. I've been using Solar Prison recently, but both morphs are really good.

I also like the Crescent Sweep ultimate even though it isn't widely used in the player base. It's similar to the dual wield weapon skill, Steel Tornado, but as an ultimate, it doesn't rely on stamina or magicka. It has a very low cost, so can very quickly fill back up again, essentially functioning as a 6th skill on my DPS bar.

Freyja has always been a werewolf, but in truth, I've never found a practical use for ww. So I'll be giving that up soon.

I've also always used a mostly stamina build, with only a few points in magicka to help with healing.

Last, but not least, Freyja is an 8-trait crafter in blacksmithing, clothing and woodworking, all heavy, light and medium armor and all woodworking weapon types. She has completed research on greatsword, sword, dagger and is working on axe. She also is maxed out in alchemy, except for the new vr15/16 potions. (I have a vr15 Sorcerer who is at level 50 in enchanting.)

They seem to be able to heal, tank, dps as stam/magic adequately. So if you only play one character, you can still change around to other roles if you get bored.
