Can we have separate pve and pvp skill profiles?

Why not have separate profiles for pve and pvp? That way we can morph skills for pve the way we want to and same for pvp without having to reset and re-morph skills every time you do pvp or pve.

I would like to see a complete skill separation between PvP and PvE. We can even have the same skills that do the same or similar things, but the balances that are done for PvP instance of the skill are not applied in PvE instance of the skill.

Go into Cyrodiil, you get one set of skills, go into everywhere else you get the other set of skills.
Enjoy the game, life is what you really want to be worried about.

+1 as many times as it takes for ZOS to listen
If options weren't necessary, and everyone played the same way, no one would use addons. Fix the UI!

To be honest I think if VR was moved to PvP it could do this
Just saying keep VR in PvP and champion skills in PvE

    That would be awesome.

It's really terrible to have to choose between a PvE and a PvP skill when you consider do both aspects of gameplay.

I wouldn't mind that either, it would eliminate some of this infighting.

I would LOVE this! also seperate CPs. love tanking but it leaves me in a less than optimal spot in pvp especially now i have lots of stam with.. magicka regen... that doesnt translate well to any other build.

    This...OMG...This!

Just recently I've tried my hand at PvP and I'm having a blast! But the two styles do not compliment each other. I understand that I need to hone my PvP skills, but since the two styles are so different, why must we choose on a daily basis on our specs???

Each is it's own style and discipline, so why not let us make the choice as we decide what part of the game we want to play from moment to moment?

After all...Isn't it "Play as you want"?

Oh and BTW...@Nestor That would B another +1 to your tally for your great idea :)

Personally I'd be against it. I like having to consider my choices carefully, and I like that there -are- some choices that must be made, instead of getting to have it all...

Same when someone cries about mixed PvP&PvE zones... "whatever shall we gear up for?"... I love being faced with that choice, and either having to gear up for PvP gankings and loose some effectiveness against the PvE mobs, or gear up to kick computer controlled behind and suffer a bit if some enemy player does stop by for the traditional dagger greeting towards the backside...

Having to make those choices, and then dealing with the consequences, is for me part of what makes games fun. And I would be sad to see it lost just because some people want to have maximum effectiveness everywhere without having to specialize...

I don't want to be able to flip skills/morphs like changing clothing.

My choices should have consequences and I LIKE the fact that different situations/areas call for different technique. It makes the game require more intelligence and smarter play.

Now granted, I do have one higher level character with "backup jewelry" that's all fire-resistant for certain situations, but I put in the work/money to get/enchant it.
Tenesi Faryon of Telvanni - Dunmer Sorceress who deliberately sought sacrifice into Cold Harbor to rescue her beloved.
Hisa Ni Caemaire - Altmer Sorceress, member of the Order Draconis and Adept of the House of Dibella.
Broken Branch Toothmaul - goblin (for my goblin characters, I use either orsimer or bosmer templates) Templar, member of the Order Draconis and persistently unskilled pickpocket
Mol gro Durga - Orsimer Socerer/Battlemage who died the first time when the Nibenay Valley chapterhouse of the Order Draconis was destroyed, then went back to Cold Harbor to rescue his second/partner who was still captive. He overestimated his resistance to the hopelessness of Oblivion, about to give up, and looked up to see the golden glow of atherius surrounding a beautiful young woman who extended her hand to him and said "I can help you". He carried Fianna Kingsley out of Cold Harbor on his shoulder. He carried Alvard Stower under one arm. He also irritated the Prophet who had intended the portal for only Mol and Lyris.
    ***
Order Draconis - well c'mon there has to be some explanation for all those dragon tattoos.
House of Dibella - If you have ever seen or read "Memoirs of a Geisha" that's just the beginning...
Nibenay Valley Chapterhouse - Where now stands only desolate ground and a dolmen there once was a thriving community supporting one of the major chapterhouses of the Order Draconis
