Armor appearance needs reform

As someone who likes to wear full suits of a style of armor, the crafting system doesn't work. To get the most of your armor, you need 5X whatever set (which if not crafted, may not be in the style you want) and a few of some other set. this results in mismatched armor, especially if you are putting on some different weight armor.

I hope that either crafting a full suit of armor unlocks that suit as a costume, or that you should be able to reforge items with the weight and appearance you want.

You can make your weapons match (if you have imperial edition) by right clicking and converting to imperial.

Other than that I use ESO Fashion web site to look at the different armors by weight (i wear heavy and light) and peice together pieces of different styles to get my look, if you want a full set of the same style then that isnt very imaginative. I think it gives you a more options when you craft. Im wearing all crafted armor a 5 set and a 3 set along with a jewelry set. I match....

That would be a nice option to have, along with being able to upgrade armor level.
I hated the appearance of the Wise mage set but it was required wearing for Trials pre 1.6.

It has been mentioned before... those of us who like matching armor would love to get the option to reforge/resew/recarve/re-whatever their found sets to any style they had already learned to make all their armor match perfectly.

Of course... it shouldn't be quite as easy as selecting the "convert to imperial" option in the drop down menu... put in some resources, tempers, style materials, have a destruction chance just like temper improvements that can be raised by using more stuff... possibly require a lot of crafting skill as well... that sort of thing...

Just as it would be nice to have an option to raise gear levels, so you can keep your favorite gear even if the level cap raises. Though the effort spent to earn the resources for this ought to be at least two or three times the effort you need to spend to just find a new set... those who really want this, will spend the effort without complaint, the rest... will just grab the new set...

^ I agree with @TheShadowScout, it's something I didn't know I wanted, but now I want that to happen. It adds more depth to the entire notion of crafting armor/weapons!
