The Solution for the PS4 ESO Login Issue!

I have here the instructions on how to fix not being able to connect to the ESO game servers on PS4.

Step 1: Completely turn off the PS4.

Step 2: Press and hold the power button on the PS4 console until you hear the second beep, which is when you should let go (first beep sounds when you first touch the button and second beep sounds 7 seconds later).

Step 3: Connect the controller to the console with the USB wire and press the PS button on the remote.

Step 4: This should take you to a 7 option menu, so go down to 5. Rebuild Database and select it then hit OK, this will rebuild the database which may take some time to do, but don't worry you won't lose any progress or games during this process.

Step 5: After the database has been rebuilt, you should be back at the PS4 home screen, now you need to turn off the PS4 completely again.

Step 6: Now you need to get back into that 7 option menu again, so press and hold the power button on the PS4 console until you hear the second beep.

Step 7: Once you're in that 7 option menu, go down to 4. Restore Default Settings and select it then hit OK, and don't worry you won't lose any progress or games during this process.

Step 8: Follow the directions on your PS4 until you get back to the PS4 home screen, and now your problem should be fixed.

I've tried to contact Zenimax about ten times on this issue but they only got back to me once. Zenimax and I were going back and forth with emails for a week until they finally said that they couldn't help me and that I was on my own. I then contacted Sony and they had an agent give me these steps in less than 20 minutes, and my problem was fixed. I wanted to pass this solution on to the community so you don't have to go through the same trouble I did in order to solve this issue. I just hope that these steps solve your problems and you could go back to exploring Tamriel as soon as possible!

Nice, ZoS should make this a sticky in here.

I'm sorry to hear that this did not solve your issue @Jaydace . Hopefully someone will find the solution to your problem which happens to a lot of people. These steps did however solve my issue of not being able to login, so hopefully it solves the same issue of so many other players.

At least some one is trying.

But sorry to say it didnt work.

Rebuild database is actually something I do when I install games or DL big updates.
Its PS4s version of a defrag, I do it 3-5 times per game install.

The worrying fact is if that worked for you, thats great. But PS4 isnt a pc, we shouldnt have to play around with PS4 system settings.
EVERY SINGLE GAME I have bought, installed and played, worked. And when it didnt, a patch was what fixed any issues.

Consoles are plug n play, they arent suppose to be troubleshooted like a PC.
