I'm sure there are others out there who want to see more information, stats, etc so we can have a better understanding of the game. Once we hit VR 14, we focus on min/maxing our characters so we can put them to highest potential.
Take a look at this character stat comparison. Just look at the information difference.
Also, let's talk about trading/grouping. everybody's answer nowadays is "join a guild".

I wonder why everybody would just immediately leave the channel chat whenever they login...

PC wants more information as well, as the addons that give extra stats on the character sheet have been known to be wrong.
