The Bank Lag Needs to GO!

The bank loading lag needs to go! This has been an issue since launch and it just gets more and more frustrating each time you try to go into your guild bank.

That's the only way I can ever get the damn thing to work. Most of the time the first bank slot won't load (which is the only one I ever want to use), so I have to toggle another. That one will load, but the following bank will not, so I click on *another* bank and *then* I can go back to the original bank I wanted. That's ***.

I feel bad for those that may only have one guild.

Seeing this is the only ES game they are focusing on for at least the next 2 years I was hoping for some more love with the broken and lack of guild functions in the game. IC patch gave us NO guild tools and function love

BTW Other TES games and ESO are not made by the same people. ESO is Zenimax (Wuv You Guys) other TES games like Skyrim are Bethesda. So ZOS works on ESO and Bethesda works on next TES and Fallout.

Um… never saw this issue. I've seen the bank take it's time loading textures, but the items and controls are functional almost immediately after it pops up, even when I'm dealing with network lag.

That said, I see a number of elements in the bank screenshot which aren't standard for PC -- are you on a Console, or do you have an add-on which is modifying the bank UI? If you have an add-on, I highly recommend disabling all your add ons and seeing if the lag remains -- it's quite possibly it's due to an add on and not the game.

I suspect you're talking about your personal bank rather than a guild bank. The personal bank never has any lag for me, only guild banks. And I can't speak for anyone else, but for me this happens with or without addons.

Yeah it always takes a while. . .
I just keep exiting and reentering the guild bank. Usually take 3-5 trys to get to load instantly.

Just leave the Guild Bank option and re-enter it.

Whenever I get this lag, if I go to a different Banker in a different town, it goes away.

That being said, I notice the lag more in places like Rawkla in Reapers March and somewhat in Craglorn. So, try your guild bank stuff in a less busy town. Like in Marbruk, I never see this.

Zenimax is the father company of both Zenimax Online and Bethesda.... they are in essence the same company. It was announced by Bethsoft that ESO will be the only ES game they will be focusing on for the next few years until Fallout is rapped up.

Yes, Zenimax is the father company to Bethesda. But Zenimax are not making ESO and neither are Bethesda. A sub company from Zenimax, 'Zenimax Online Studio's' is working on eso, not Bethesda, trust me.

Quite aware of that. I didn't know if the extra UI elements were due to differences in the console UI (which I'm totally unfamiliar with), or they were due to an add-on to the PC UI, which is why I asked if they were on Console OR had an Addon. I wasn't implying an add-on on console.

Apparently it's not only including an add-on, but also is referring to the Guild Bank instead of the personal bank, which the OP neglected to mention.

They could stand to do what Roomba did, only make it part of the system. There's no reason we should have an addon to clean up the slop that has become guild banks since the first couple weeks of release. I'm hopeful they eventually fix this, because every time a major patch comes along it messes with Roomba and I'm going bald from tearing out my hair every time this happens.
