Long load time

I've been sitting on a loading screen for about 5-10 minutes now. I was attempting to travel from the Windhelm waypoint and now my game won't load. The load icon is spinning, and I keep getting white text at the top of my screen that says "this may be an unusually long load time."

It happens sometimes. Once I was left waiting for 10 minutes straight until I just shut it off and reloaded. Inconvenient, but at least not game-breaking.

it happens to me constant and even when im not loading into a zone, sometimes right in middle of boss fights and also random pvp.
here is what win 10 messages me when it happens

    quote:

"Display Driver Stopped Responding, and has recovered!
Display Driver NVidia Windows Kernel mode driver, version 355.82 Stopped responding, and has successfully Recovered!"

    end quote:

to me, that makes me think the problem is on my end, but, thats impossible, as i have played other mmo's and even extreme hardcore graphics demanding games with my PC and i know for fact i never have problems untill i play eso. its allways eso that seems to cause me crashes and freezes and stutters and all kinds of problems.

I have same problems. I opened task manager and looked what my hard drive was doing. When zoning my hard drive was doing nothing for ESO.exe for a long time. It took several minutes and after that hard drive woke up the actual loading was done in 10-15 sec (game is on SSD and so is virtual memory). I have 16G of memory and good system.

I find this extremely annoying, because this game requires zoning so much. Load times were much better before Imperial patch (not good, but better).
