ZoS please give us an option to increase the VR level of an item. Make it cost a lot of resources but please give us this feature.

For example. You have VR 12 heavy armor helm using 200-300 void ingots you can improve it to VR 13, using more 200-300 improve it to VR 14. Then with the new materials. using 200-300 improve to VR15 and at the end to VR 16.

There are so many nice set which have cap for the highest VR level that they can drop. Giving this option to us we can play as we want and not all of us using the newest sets all the time. It shouldnt be easier to improve them than get a new VR 16 gear but it should be possible.

Another nice addition will be if we are able to improve the jeweleries too.

    I'd love to see that sort of option! Allow people to keep their favorite sets as they attain new levels... as long as its costly enough that they put in three times the effort getting a new piece requires. I would have it cost less raw materials... but also require tempers! (which at high quality ratings, are a good deal harder to get then just raw materials you can just pick up in any of the right areas) Perhaps even style materials, though that would make non-leranable styles like akaviri, yokudan or the undaunted dungeon helmets/shouderpieces unimprovable, and I would expect a lot of people would want to improve especially those due to difficulty of getting them...

    Improving jewelry will have to wait until we get jeweler as crafting skill, which may or may not happen... I hope it may, someday, though they really need more for them to craft then just amulets and rings to make implementation worthwhile... not like that is too big a deal of course, there's always stuff they could add for just that reason, from crowns/circlets/facemasks, to an alternate destruction / restoration magic weapon...

    I agree, so many of our play styles revolve around a set piece we are wearing. It is rather annoying that in order to stay competitive I have to conform to a cookie cutter build because there is so few new sets that reach V16.

    Yes please. This would be amazing, then the lower level sets would still be viable even with increased VR and new content and would be able to use those lower level sets in end game stuff.

    Besides the lvl upgrade a crafting feature to change weapon and armor traits would be very cool. I hate to be a victim of the big boss RNG in this game.

    I ever thought that double stacking RNG itemization (random on drop, random stats on drop) was already a bad feature over 10 years ago ? Mind why other MMOs meanwhile all use token systems or at least give you an item which is actually usable, while drop chance still remains rare and/or random ?

    Hmm wonder about Diablo 3 and the consequences..

    Such a feature wasn't so important back in the time. At release the bonuses were only 2 per 5 piece item set plus the soft cap reduction and all the buff which stacked we all were at soft caped stats with VR1 gear at VR10. Now the game changed and that is why such feature is more required.

    I am already hurting for end game content....adding the option to have optimal gear for the entire game??? Nah im good....

    I ;like having a reason to do Banished cells at Vet 12.....same with most dungeons.

    You didnt get it, right? I want to be easier to get the end game gear VR 16 than just improve low lvl gear. Thee problem is that there are 20 good sets which are low level and even that they are good they are not competitive to the others because they are lower vr level. And there is not other option to get them. We had the same problem when ZoS introduced the trials but later they added some of the sets to the trials loot table. Now they have to either give us an option to improve old or to add these sets again to the loot table of the new dungeons.
