Such a feature wasn't so important back in the time. At release the bonuses were only 2 per 5 piece item set plus the soft cap reduction and all the buff which stacked we all were at soft caped stats with VR1 gear at VR10. Now the game changed and that is why such feature is more required.Are we back in 2014? Everyone's been asking for this feature since launch.
It will probably never happen.
ZoS please give us an option to increase the VR level of an item. Make it cost a lot of resources but please give us this feature.
For example. You have VR 12 heavy armor helm using 200-300 void ingots you can improve it to VR 13, using more 200-300 improve it to VR 14. Then with the new materials. using 200-300 improve to VR15 and at the end to VR 16.
There are so many nice set which have cap for the highest VR level that they can drop. Giving this option to us we can play as we want and not all of us using the newest sets all the time. It shouldnt be easier to improve them than get a new VR 16 gear but it should be possible.
Another nice addition will be if we are able to improve the jeweleries too.

You didnt get it, right? I want to be easier to get the end game gear VR 16 than just improve low lvl gear. Thee problem is that there are 20 good sets which are low level and even that they are good they are not competitive to the others because they are lower vr level. And there is not other option to get them. We had the same problem when ZoS introduced the trials but later they added some of the sets to the trials loot table. Now they have to either give us an option to improve old or to add these sets again to the loot table of the new dungeons.Heeeeeeeell no.
I am already hurting for end game content....adding the option to have optimal gear for the entire game??? Nah im good....
I ;like having a reason to do Banished cells at Vet 12.....same with most dungeons.
