Just an idea......

Combine these skills place them in the fighter guild or undaunted trees and givev 2 H the doom soon type skill some of the NPC's sport and create a new skill for the assault tree.

I'm exceptionally bored of seeing 2H on 95 % plus PVP builds in part because one skill is so freaking good.

Come on already I've only been here dance console launch and see this are an easily fixed design/build diversity issue.

    I'm just curious why it bothers you that you see a lot of people using 2H for rally.

    Rally got a stam cost increase this patch for that very reason. And a nerf because healing is reduced in PVP by a huge amount. But we still need our weapon damage buffs. Just like most magicka dps are using Structured Entropy and are not even tied to using a particular weapon, with the added benefit of the awesome Might of the Guild passive. I'm just not seeing the issue here. Everyone has access to non class based buffs for their damage type. Stam users have two weapon specific abilities while magic users have one non-weapon specific ability. Rally is a little more desirable as it does not require a target to activate but it's balanced by the nerfs it's received.

    It bothers me that a majority or a super majority of players use one weapon because one skill is hands down great.

    People work entire builds around trying not use it and then come right back to it.

    I don't want it nerfed, I want it put in a place everyone can use it without restriction. And I'm really not bothered greatly it strikes as a great ability that after a years worth of live testing is so good it's best served in a different place. By all means use 2H if it's your thing.

    Not a balance issue at all.

    Design issue.

    2H users could still have rally plus another weapon specific class ability or buff depending on what you put in its place.
    Anyone who wanted a stamina heal for any other weapon combination could carry rally or something similar also.
    Not a nerf thread and not a anti 2H thread, seems logical to me but then again this is not a logical place.

    Now that I see your point, I could see its usefulness in the fighter's guild line freeing us up to use whatever weapon we want to use. Keep in mind though that for PVP, 2H is one of the most versatile weapon lines available. You can use it for AOE (Brawler), gap closer (Crit Rush or that other morph), massive damage with stun and empower (Wrecking Blow), an execute ability that starts scaling from 50% health (Executioner), and the aforementioned Rally. That right there is a solid skill bar, tbh. As a Nightblade I have a few class abilities I sometimes swap out and I like to add Mass Hysteria to the mix, but it's an excellent choice of weapons. I don't know if people use it just for Rally as much as it's just an all around great weapon. The Wrecking Blow spam in IC is legit. But I think you have a valid point moving that skill to the Fighter's Guild line (replacing that last skill that no one uses) and freeing up our choices of weapons.

    Trap beast just got a very nice crit damage buff, IMO you will see it a lot more on the PVE side especially in anything dadera/undead heavy and the what not but yeah and yes 2H is a very solid skill line it's not 90 plus percent solid and if it is then the other lines need to be buffed so it's a much more difficult choice.

    When I first started playing ESO, I started out with DW. Loved the playstyle, always have in any MMO/RPG game, especially the ES series. After I maxed it out, I switched to 2H because, sure why not. I immediately notice a difference burst damage, but I loathed how slow it was. I got use to animation canceling early on, but, I felt like I needed more 2H skills on my bars to take advantage of the skill line, to the point where I had very little class abilities.

    Present time, I still prefer DW and, though I know Hidden Blades Major Brutality buff doesn't quite compare to Rally, I simply can't get myself to use 2H.

    Having Rally moved to a skill line that isn't tied or a weapon or something to that effect would be a welcomed change for me.

    Love rally part of 2H tank build but IMO it does have to be changed to only be active when you have to 2H equip.
