Do you think you're getting you're money's worth?

I have been subscribed since beta and have had a blast for most of it but for the past 2 patches I've been losing interest. I've loved PvP (not the exploiters and lag) but in my opinion the game has lost most of it appeal. PvP has just... damn its not right when I can solo a vet 13 with a lvl 42 that I have almost no experience with since its been recently restored (no joke it still has Bloodthorn as it's home campaign). The game to me just isn't worth the money anymore so both of my subscriptions have be canceled. I'd like to know how many others are feeling the same as me and if you have decided to keep your sub why have you kept it?

my own view on it is simple, it give crowns, allows you to try the DLC without committing to it & increases exp & money gain as well but i just started abit ago so its more helpful to new then vet players.

I agree I liked the ESO plus primarily because I love to make new toons and lvl them fast also getting the DLCs is also a very good reason to keep them since I've heard that there should be a new DLC every three months( I cant find where I saw/heard that from sorry). I've just been seeing all the issues players have been having and experiencing a lot of problems with the game not to mention some of the new ideas ZOS has added that its gotten too be hard for me to stomach. If the game changes then I may restart my sub but right now I just need to wait and see.

This is why I can't understand people chucking hissy's when games included Subs other most of the 'bonuses' have an in game gold option (Just way more expensive) I.e 10% XP extra (Sub) to XP potions . Other than the rare monthly subs are the clothing/pet bonuses.

My mind tells me the sub is worth the money because it is the same price as 1500 just with more to it.
However for whatever reason I feel it lacks in perks as a sub itself.

After you max out in level, research, skill lines there really isn't much use for the sub except the extra gold which I have no quarrels in losing, and also the DLC which also I don't mind losing for a time. The most of the benefits of the sub have a limit to which you can reach, and I feel the sub needs one or two more perks to give it more staying power, and more reason to keep it.

I heard "Crafting bags" are coming as one of those perks to allow us more inventory space. That is the kind of perk that would make me want to keep the sub, and others like it.

However I DO NOT want the sub to turn this game to pay to win so I'd want to make sure all the perks are just a means to improve the quality of life within in the game, and also saving time. Often times when I pay for something I feel like I am trading time for my money. So that's what I think that's what the sub should be about.

    Trick question.

No I don't feel like I'm getting much out of the subscription itself, but
yes I feel like I'm getting my money's worth.

Confused? Me too. I enjoy this game, a lot. So much that I pay a sub just to support it. I don't feel like I'm getting much for being a member though, if that makes sense.

My personal opinion is that ESO plus is lack-luster but can be worth it for certain scenarios. Currently I have 2000 crowns so I'm going to keep my subscription for two more months so I can have 5000 and pay for whatever upcoming DLC packs will be released. I'm not a fan of pvp so I'll just use the subscription to play the Imperial City while I can buy the upcoming DLC packs with the crowns received from the subscription. I'm VR4 at the moment so leveling this character and my future Templar will be faster with the bonuses I get.

If there was extra storage available, then yes. However, as things stand and having subbed for the last month, I can't see what it offers me in terms of value. I'm not asking for a pay to win model, I just think the benefits could be better. After all, we're more or less subbing the game and getting no real benefits. As for the free crowns, the crown shop doesn't seem to get much new and worthwhile stuff in it to make the free crowns an attractive benefit. I can get 3000 crowns for £13 at GAME if I really wanted crowns. I'd rather just pay for dlc out right than rent it.

I've never had a sub because I don't think it's worthwhile for me. I always end up over-level for the content I'm doing so I don't want a 10% XP boost, the other boosts are irrelevant to me and if I want access to the DLC I'll just buy it. Likewise if I want to buy anything else with crowns I'll just get a crown pack. I bought one back in March or April and still have about 1/2 the crowns left so if I was subbing to get them firstly I'd be paying more (compared to the 5,500 crown pack) and secondly I'd end up with loads I don't use.

I may sub for the odd month to try out the DLC to decide if it's worth buying, but that's it. I did try the IC on the PTS but as I don't have any high level characters, have done very little PvP and I'm still not worrying about matching gear sets it all went a bit over my head, so I'll need to try it later when I'm closer to wanting it.

    Subscription is optional.

If you do not think you are getting your money's worth then why are you paying?

On console, it's becoming an iffy proposition, as you may or may not receive your monthly allotted Crowns after paying your monthly subscription. Seriously, the rigamarole involved in trying to sort out the problem with ZOS is really annoying and making me question whether I want to keep subbing. My main reason for subbing is to support their game, which I have been doing since early access on PC.

ESO is the only online game I am currently playing on my Ps4. If Sony were to drop the PS+ requirement to play ESO, then I wouldn't mind paying for ESO+. $20 per month or more just to play ESO is a bit too much IMO. Especially when the game is lacking all the MMO features I want.
