I just wanted to thank Hagbard_OM for sharing your work with us. It must take a lot of effort to collate each week so thank you very very much for your hard work. As long as you keep going, I know many of us will be greatfully reading this!

Updated for the week of 7/20.

BUG: The trader Urvel Hlaren in Ebonheart is completely invisible to all of my AD characters (they access the area as a Cadwell's Silver zone). He has worked correctly in every week prior to this one. I tested the issue by logging in with a low-level EP alt, and he was visible and working correctly for that character.

My initial thoughts were that this is a phasing issue similar to the one that makes Seeks-Better-Deals (in Greenshade) invisible to players who have completed the main area questline, but that doesn't seem to be the case. Urvel is invisible to ALL of my AD vet characters - both those who have completed the Ebonheart quest line, and those who have not.

I do not have any DC characters at vet levels, so I have been unable to personally test this issue for that faction.

I have submitted screen shots and a bug report. Hopefully this issue will be addressed soon. One "MIA" guild trader is quite enough.

@Hagbard_OM it appears the Stablemaster in Rawl'kha is missing as well (at least in the AD instance). Maybe they ran off together?

I wanted to message you, but I've apparently never posted on the official forums before, and can't send PMs yet.

I was wondering if you knew of anyone that has a similar list for the other servers, specifically PS4/NA. If not, could I have your permission to copy your spreadsheet, so we can this information available as well?

I logged in today to the email saying we had won our trader bid, guild history shows the winning bid being spent from the bank but guild home page says no trader hired!

Sorry for the delay. Like a few other folks, I got lured onto the test server for a bit this week, so I was late making my rounds.

@StevecampsOut Yeah, we call that the "heart attack bug" in one of my trade guilds.

Urvel Hlaren (Ebonheart trader) is still MIA for AD players. Hopefully he and the RK stablemaster will be back from vacation soon.

That is a good name. I was on in the morning when the vendors switched and made sure we had won our bid, and logged on in the evening to find the "none hired" message. I ran to our trader and sure enough he was selling our stuff like normal.
Then I checked my other guilds and all of them said "none hired", even though 2 of them had traders.

It's back to normal now.

Yeah, I'm sure they will be back from their vacation after the next maintenance.

Both Urvel Hlaren (Ebonheart Trader) and the Rawl'Ka stablemaster have returned from their hiatus. I have removed the "blue text of shame" from Urvel to signify this fix.

Congrats to Tamriel Stock Exchange for once again having a fully-funcitonal trader.

This week I also confirmed with 100% certainty the reason for the invisible status of Seeks-Better-Deals in Greenshade. While leveling an alt through the Greenshade main questline, I kept checking the status of Seeks after each quest turn-in. The invisibility of this trader is being triggered by completing the final Greenshade main quest - "Striking at the Heart." When this quest is completed and Hectahame is transformed from a hostile environment to a peaceful one, Seeks-Better-Deals is no longer accessible. The "new" phase for Hectahame apparently overlaps the trader's location and makes it invisible. This is particularly unfortunate because "Striking at the Heart" is a quest that rewards a skill point for completion - meaning that it is even completed by many non-questers. I have submitted bug reports on this issue as have many of my in-game friends, so I can only assume that ZOS is aware of the issue.

PLEASE FREE SEEKS-BETTER-DEALS!

Sorry for the late update, but between busy time at work and a lot of my in-game time being spent on the PTS and trying to get ready for the update on the live server, my plate has been pretty full. Updates will probably be late (Thursday or Friday) for the next for the next few weeks.

Great list and very handy/interesting. Thanks for all the work done on it! It's sometimes just really useful seeing both who is where but also how much movement there is.

I see that you're tracking the GMs of guilds. You can add me @elffromspace as the GM of Elder Scrolls Exchange. I can also provide you with many other GM names if you want to contact them for permission to be listed.

Elf, I already have a pretty big list of GM information, but I am only adding GM information to the sheet on a case-by-case basis when I get specific personal requests/permission. The reason for this is that I do not wish to be responsible for bombarding unwitting GM's with unwanted in-game spam.

As expected, I've been really busy with the new content this week. Sorry it took so long.

Most of you may already know this, but, as it turns out, the release of Imperial City was actually the SECOND biggest change implemented in the game this week.

SEEKS-BETTER-DEALS IS FREE!!!!!!! For the first time since the implementation of the trader system, the elusive Argonian is visible to and usable by players who have completed the Greenshade main story quest.

Goodbye, blue text and thank you, Zenimax!

Haha, true. She can now get hired by two guilds. This will certainly lead to some confusion. Such a typical Zenimax "fix".

Really! Wow. I never checked her with my lowbie after hearing from a friend that she was fixed.

Anyone have any idea which guild had the "visible-only-to-people-who-have-not-done-the-Greenshade-storyline" version of her? This is for last week (I will start checking both instances going forward).

As was mentioned by some folks above, Seeks-Better-Deals in Greenshade now exists in two separate instances with each instance being under the control of a different guild. I have re-instated the "blue text of shame" for one of the two instances (the one that is invisible to people who have completed the Greenshade main quest line).

Hey Hagbard, I just wanted to thank you for this service that you're providing to the community. I think it's great in that it acts as a great way to record the history of the many guilds that have traders, and it's also a great tool for those who like to buy from specific guilds so that they can always find them!

A price index for each guild would be nice, but gathering all of the sales data for each store and applying it to some kind of "price average" (not even taking into account the variances created by individual store inventories) would require the talents of someone with a lot more code-writing skill than I possess (which is, admittedly, none whatsoever).

Right now, Master Merchant is the closest thing to such a program that I've found, but it only parses data for guilds to which you belong, and the pricing information that it provides is on a per item basis. Because of the way that the game shares (or does not share) information, I don't believe that the information you are requesting could be determined by any method short of manually digging through each store's inventory one page at a time and doing the math.

That would be a LOT of work.
