Impale on Shields

I could have sworn that Impale used to get the full 300% bonus if the low health target pops a shield. My FTC seems to be showing normal hits. Now maybe I'm misreading the target health but I could swear I've had some targets down to a sliver and they pop a shield and my impale is then hitting for its normal pathetic damage. Anybody know what the rule is on this and how it is working?

thelordoffelines✭✭✭✭✭All executes work through shields. My sorc execute works havent tested the nb or 2h execute recently but if its not working its probably a bug.0
