I've been unable to finish the quest "Light From The Darkness". The light beam keeps resetting to the second crystal every time I rotate the crystal at the end of the chain. I've been able to get the beam to the 5th crystal but it always ends up in a loop between the third and second crystal. That is I rotate the second crystal until the beam goes to the third crystal and when I then rotate the third crystal the beam just resets back to the second crystal. This then keeps happening over and over again.

I submitted a help request in game 150831-003213 but it's been 48 hours and no response. I've now run out of other quests to do and cannot progress until this is resolved. I abandoned the quest in the hope that I could pick it up again and re-do it but now can find no way to restart this quest. I submitted a second help request with this new information 150902-003532.

I just want to be able to continue the main story with this character.

    Huh. Hadn't heard that was bugged.

    EDIT: Wait, hold on. You say it reset? Try activating that crystal again. The third one? See what happens.

    You didn't read my post - I DO activate that crystal again - over and over...

    Also I abandoned the quest and now have no way to restart it...

    I'm screwed unless ZOS can fix it or roll back my save.

    Yeah, I'm leveling an Alt and just ran into the same issue. I've done this many, many times and it's broken. Submitted a case too just now (forgot to write the #) but I did reference @Elephant42 's two cases. Hopefully the patch tomorrow fixes it. :(

    @Elephant42 I did get it to work. I had to run back to the Second Crystal countless times, press it 4 times, then sprint to the next crystal that needs alignment. And of course to make it worse, especially toward the end, sometimes multiple beams came out of the same crystal. When that happened, I'd just wait as few seconds and see where it 'settled' or just wait for them all to disappear and go back to the Second Crystal. And yes, the other half of the room is the same way with the light beams disappearing. But it is possible.

    Also - I did get a response, (my incident was 150907-002479), but it was a lovely generic response telling me that logging out for 5 minutes should fix it and if not, go to the forums or 3rd party wikis.
