I usually find myself logging on/off in Rawl'kha. I train the horse, pick up the daily crafting writs, and enjoy the easy access to all the near by crafting stations. If I need anything, the bank is right there. The Outlaws Refuge is just a step away from the Guild Traders and and the Wayshrine.
The one thing I cannot stand, though, is the area chat in Rawl'kha. Very noisy and very rude behavior. Toxic atmosphere.
I have been visiting Mournhold a lot more recently. The wayshrine/crafting location is very accessible but the bank is a bit of a jog away.
I don't enjoy Belkarth because everything is very spread out but that is where I have to turn in my daily writs, so occasionally I will log off/on there.

I am DC, I go to Wayrest and Daggerfall, nothing else.
Wayrest is far and away the best main city in the game.
The chat is generally nice, just people selling things and looking for groups.
Daggerfall is also very good, best non main city.

✭Riften. It seems to be the most populated and, with the exception of the guild trader kiosks, everything is located in the same area. Entertaining at times too.
